Chapter 1: Under the Sea
Demando looked out his window and sighed, his life was loveless, the only person he loved was his brother Safiru, but he wanted something more. His gaze went from the sky to the sea, and he thought he seen a flicker of emerald green.
Esmeraude swam as fast as she could back to the palace. 'Did he see me? If he did Kunzite will kill me. He sure was hot though.' she thought, on her way to the palace she seen the Trio. HawksEye and TigersEye were fighting as usual, and FishEye was trying to break it up. FishEye was probably Esmeraude's best friend. "You went to the surface didn't you?" FishEye asked immediately breaking up the fighting of TigersEye and HawksEye. FishEye was a merman that dressed as a mermaid. "FishEye, he's so cute, I couldn't help myself." Esmeruade replied. "King Kunzite's been looking for you." HawksEye told her. "My brother shouldn't worry so much, besides I think he might like this human." TigersEye looked at HawksEye and they both rolled their eyes.
Demando was the Prince of the Shore, he loved looking at the sea. Many of his people loved the sea and the creatures that lived in it.. The sailors would often tell tales of creatures that had a human's upper body and a fin for their lower bodies. The females of this species is said to be the most beautiful females you have ever laid eyes upon. Demando thought he saw a mermaid, as the sailors called them, earlier that day. He decided that Safiru and himself would look for this human-fish.
Kunzite had just finished scolding his sister about the evils of going up to the surface, and Viluy also chewed her out. "Dumb girl, all she wants is my brother." she muttered under her breath. FishEye came swimming up to her, and told her that the Shore Prince was on the ocean. "We have to go see him." Esmeruade exclaimed, "You can, but I'm not getting my butt in hot water with the king." "We can't forget about Viluy either." FishEye laughed. "Esmeraude seen the Triton that only member's of the King of the Seas family could use. She took it out of it's stand and proceeded to swin towards the surface. "What are you doing with that?" FishEye telled at her. "Maybe he will want to become a merman, he has a brother you know." FishEye smiled. In that case, I'm going with you." FishEye and Esmeraude swam towards the surface as Viluy, TinNyanko, and Mimete came out of the shadows. "Wonder what King Kunzite will say when we tell him this." TinNyanko told her two friends. "Yes his majesty will be thrilled to say the least." Viluy replied, while Mimete nodded, wondering what this brother of the Shore Prince looked like.
