Preface
They were surrounding us. Anywhere you looked, they were there. Even though it was obvious that I was out numbered and that I had a .001 % chance of getting out of this alive I was still going to try my best to rid the world of this evil in front of me. I stood my ground they started to charge towards me.
Chapter One
My name is Destiny Underwood. I am 13 and I saved the world with my best friend, Haley Newsworth. Don't believe me? Then I'll just have to tell you the story.
It was about five years ago when I found out that I was the Chosen One. I'll never forget the day it happened. It was just a normal day at school. Except for me and Haley. Me and Haley were best friends. As close as best friends could ever be. We're still like that.
Haley and I were just walking down the hallway that had the Math, Social Studies, and Science rooms in it. We were heading to our Social studies class that we had together when I fell unconscious. When I woke up I found that I was in a dark room that was dimly lit with light. I looked over to my right side and I found that Haley was here, too. Wherever here was exactly.
I started shaking Haley to get her awake. After what seemed like five hours, she finally woke up. We could barely talk enough to ask each other if we were ok, then we just sat in silence, waiting to see what happened next.
What seemed like hours passed by when finally we heard something behind what we guessed was the door to this room. It sounded like someone shuffling their feet. And then there was other noises that disturbed me greatly. It sounded like metal clanging against metal. After a few seconds of pure and undisturbed silence, the door opened.
