I hope you enjoy this story, I'm an ameatur so if it sucks then it sucks. Oh and I don't own the characters of Narnia accept the people I made up. This is my first fic so please don't write bad stuff about it, I would really appreciate if you write good stuff and tips on how to write better. Thanks! R&R
There is always a time and place when magical things can happen. There is always someone who happens to come across a portal (if you should call it that) and find his or her selves in a whole entire different world. The Pevensie children of course came upon the magical world of Narnia, but that story happened a long time ago when they first entered Narnia during the time of World War Two. This story is different because long after the Pevensies had forgotten Narnia and lived a wonderful life of their own and died (of course everyone has to die someday) there came a time and place when some very fortunate people came upon it.Those people were children.
Looking out the window of her two storyapartment, Jen could see the city lights of Seattle, Washington. Of course it was raining, as it always did almost everyday. She watched the cars zoom by and the drivers' faces looking anxious to get home from work.Jen looked at the clock besideher bed on her nightstand.
"Six forty five. Mom should be home soon. I hope she's not exhausted from her first day of work." Jen said to herself.
She hoped her mother had a better day than her at work than Jen had at school. She thought back to this morning, when she was headingto the door to catch the bus.
"Bye, Mom! I'll see you tonight!"
"Good-bye, sweetie! I hope you'll have a great day at school. Oh, I can't believe my baby is growing up! Her first day of eighth grade, and at a new school. I can't believe it!" Her mom said.
Jen rolled her eyes. "Mom don't start crying. I'll be fine, we've done this like twice already, and I'm prepared."
"Okay, honey. I'll see you later!" Her mother yelled, as Jen ran out the door into the heavy rain.
She ran as fast as she could to the bus stop, where the bus almost drove off without her. Jen walked up the steps into the bus.
"Thanks for waiting," She said panting.
The bus driver grunted as he shut the door and drove down the street to the next stop. Jen walked down the isle looking at all the droopy faces drenched from the cold rain.
She looked for an empty seat and found a girl sitting ina seatclose to the window.
"May, I sit by you, please?" Jen asked politely. The girl just gave her a mean glare.
"No. Now leave me alone!" The girl said as she turned and looked out the window.
"Wow. I guess people do get gloomy and depressed when you barely ever see the sun," Jen thought to herself. She kept walking down the isle until she got to an empty seat. The minute she sat down she made a splosh noise because she was all wet. Jen laughed at herself and looked out the window at the wet scenery.
The bus stopped at its last stop to pick up some kids and drag them off to school. The bus driver opened the door and five wet, soaked, and cold kids poured in.
