Authors Note:

I got this idea from Blader 25 so the plot for the first chapter goes to them. (Thank you so much for the idea but don't hate me because I am using pieces of it and I give you all the credit for the Mara becoming a renegade idea, but I have always wanted her to be part of the uprising so now she is). This is my first ever fanfiction story and I've been repetetly fixing ever little detail to make it the bet that I can.

Disclaimer: Unfortunately I don't own Tron: Uprising because if I did, Paige would be good, Zed and Mara would know who the renegade was( Mara would make such a good renegade) and I would derezz Pavel myself because he is so stuck up.

Chapter 1: The next renegade

Beck's POV

"Your cause is right, but we're not in your army"

"Hey, it's a good thing Tron lives. Argon needs you"

Those two statements stayed with Beck as he turned and looked at Mara, wondering if he was really ready to lead the uprising and waiting for her to speak.

She curled her hand into a fist and looked him in the eye. "I'm still in. I'm ready for this, no matter the risk"

Maybe he could do this, to train a recruit for the uprising. "Good because we're going to meet someone" He said and got out his light jet and was waiting for Mara to get on.

"Who are we going to meet?" She asked and got on the back of my light jet.

"A friend" He replied as they started flying.

Mara's POV

I can't believe that I'm here with Tron she thought as she gripped onto him tighter as they flew faster I wonder where we're going and what he means by a friend. Her thoughts were cut short as they landed by what looked like a giant glass dome in the mountain. She followed Tron inside and was faced with a program dressed in black with a scared face, working on some plans for one of Tesler's machines.

"I'm back and I brought a gest back with me" Tron said as he pointed to me. The program stopped what he was doing and started to walk towards me and I could see a T on his suit, the mark of Tron.

"Wait, your Tron, right?" When Tron nodded his head I continued "Then who are you?" I asked and pointed at the renegade.

"You didn't tell her?" Tron asked the renegade.

"I didn't exactly have the right moment to tell her in a city that happens to have everyone looking for you" He replied.

"Tell me what?" I asked as they both turned to face me.

"Who I am" He said and then removed his helmet and I gasped.

"Beck! How are you the renegade?" I asked, shocked.

"I couldn't stand what Tesler and CLU were doing to the grid so I decided to stand up to him, so here I am" He said while handing Tron his disc.

"If you're going to be part of the uprising you're going to have to fit in with Beck" He said while gesturing for my disc. I handed him my disc and he placed Beck's white disc on top of my normal black disc and I was surprised when Beck's disc started to turn mine white as well. Tron then handed me back my disc and I placed it on my back again and I gasped as my suit was turned white like Beck's and the mark of Tron glowed white on my chest.

"Now there are two renegades" Tron said as he handed back Beck's disc to him.

"I won't fail you Tron" I said to him.

'Are you ready to start training Mara?" Beck asked me.

"Only if you're ready to lose" I challenged him and followed him as he started to walk away from Tron, I heard Tron mumble to himself "Maybe she can slow him down instead of him just rushing into things without thinking" She didn't know what he meant but she thought it was important.

I am thinking of changing this into a chaptered story but at the moment it's just a one-shot so please tell me what you think and give me some pointers on what I might need to do better.
