Csilla: Okay, I got a review on one of my oneshots asking if I could write a Gratsu fic about them being married... well, this isn't exactly them being married, but its close...

Today felt special. Today marked the first day of a new age. Today was Gray's 23rd birthday and the raven was anything but excited. If he had to label what he felt about today, it would be exhaustion. Complete and utter exhaustion. And a little cold.

The other side of his bed was empty explaining the lack of the comforting warmth he had grown to love. A slightly more alert part of his mind reminded the rest of him that his boyfriend, of five years, had work this morning. Groaning, Gray curled up underneath the blue comforter adorning their bed - he was still pretty worn out from the excessive amount of hours he had taken on for almost a week. A bleary eye, laced with irritation, poked past pale eyelids to glare over at the clock -it wasn't even noon- before closing again in hopes to sleep some more.

Or at least he tried until the doorbell buzzed.

Groaning again, the raven curled up some more, but when the buzzing refused to cease: Gray crawled out of bed, slightly aware that he was only wearing a pair of boxers. Padding down the hall he mumbled: "Coming..." doing his best to stifle a yawn.

Cracking open the door, he saw a delivery man dressed pastels holding a parcel, "Ah! Are you Gray Fullbuster?" the man asked when he met the raven's gaze.

"I am,"

"I just need you to sign for this," The pastel-dressed man held up a tablet for Gray to sign his name, taking the device the raven scribbled a quick signature before accepting the parcel.

Bowing his head a little, "Thank you and have a good day, Mr. Fullbuster" and with that, the man left.

Shutting the door, Gray glanced down at the parcel -an envelope large enough to cause a raven eyebrow to raise in curiosity- before heading into the kitchen. Since he was up, he might as well get his daily poison in his system. Pressing the button, his coffeemaker went to work preparing his usual as Gray sat down at the counter. He noticed that there was no return address on the envelope, which made him debate even opening it, but curiosity getting the best of him: he opened the parcel. Sliding out onto the counter before him, several photographs dropped from the inside of the envelope. Picking it up, the photograph did little to diminish and only ended up feeding it, making it grow.

One of the photograph showed his boyfriend, Natsu grinning in front of a Goodwill while partially cutting off the 'good' within the photo.

The next had Natsu standing by Kyouka's pet shop, but covering the two 'k's and the 'a'.

The one after that had Natsu grinning by a poster of Mary Hughes' newest production while covering most of the girl's last name.

And the last one showed Natsu standing in front of the mens' restroom, but covering up only the 'n' and the 's'.

The coffeemaker beeped, giving Gray a reason to move his curiosity to the back of his mind, but only temporarily. The moment he had his mug in his hands, he sat back down staring down at the photographs. What on Earth was his boyfriend doing? Or hell- what was Natsu thinking? Stuffing the photos back in the envelope, the raven would have to wait until the rosette got off from work in four more hours.
