This bath was a blessing.

Christina Tanner had spent an entire week doing the accounting for two orphanages and one youth club. All run by wonderful selfless people... who had absolutely no talent with money or paperwork.

Now she was lying there in the warm water, listening to the holiday broadcast of the Nutcracker with her eyes closed and finally relaxing her tense muscles.

It was one of those perfect times and she wished it would go on forever.

The bathroom door opened; her husband, Harald.

"Would you hand me the soap, honey? I think I left it on the sink", she mumbled contently, just loud enough for him to hear.

He chuckled silently, even now she always forgot where she put things. Keys, glasses, soap, everything liked to get misplaced by her.

She heard his steps on the wet tiles in front of the tub and held out her hand.

The last things she heard were a big splash, the dying tunes of a cut-off Celesta and a cackling laugh.

"No soap, radio."
