I, myself am not very good at writing a coherent story. I can barely decide what a good beginning, middle, and end would be, let alone write it all out in a coherent form. That is where this comes in. I have a writing prompt for all you Authors out there that enjoy writing in the Voltron universe.

My Prompt is "Lance finds blue alone." Now, as purely challenge pieces are not allowed on this site I will try to write a Semi-coherent prologue. If you want to take this and run with it please send me a message so I know where I can find the story, one which I know would be better written than my own. I would also ask the author to give a nod to me for the idea.

It was just like any other day at the Garrison. I don't know what possessed me to go outside, I don't know why I walked all the way to this stupid mountain range in the middle of the desert, and I most certainly do not know why touching that cave wall caused it to start glowing.

Wait, maybe that's a bit too much information a bit to fast. Let's start with the basics. My name is Lance McClain, I'm the sexiest fighter pilot the Garrison has, the best to - no matter what the test scores or the simulator may say. I was taking my buddy Hunk to go to town for some pizza and girls when he chickened out just as we were about to get out off of Garrison grounds.

Being the cool guy I am, I let Hunk go back but continued on by myself. Hey, I'm just getting more girls this way, Pretty sure I got the better deal. Anyways, as I'm crossing the desert to get to the town closest to the Garrison I started getting this weird urge to get closer to this mountain range. I'm getting curious now so I decide 'What the hell? I'll just have an adventure instead of hot chicks.'

Despite that, I was traveling for about an hour before I got there, and when I did I was pulled to a weird cave with some drawings of blue Lions on the walls. I was trying to clear some of the dust and dirt from one of the drawings to see it better when the whole cave started to glow blue among them.

The ground came out from under me and now here I am, traveling high speed down a cave - in, in a place I'm not supposed to be in, with the one person who was supposed to know where I am thinking I am somewhere else.

This is going to be fun.

I did say that I wasn't the best writer, didn't I? I tried to keep it short enough that I couldn't mess it up too much yet also long enough that I could call it a Prologue. So, yet again if you use my idea please let me know that you did and credit me for my idea.

A note I would like to make for this is that it is called 'Lance's Solo Space Adventure' not just because I'm writing this at one in the morning with a low blood sugar, but because I want to see the other paladins be the ancient ones from ten thousand years ago who need to mourn their blue paladin before they can truly bond with lance, or him having to teach a bunch of rookies how to fly because that is the only option they have.

This is supposed to be how lance would survive without any other human contact. He would need to explain human traditions, he would make pop culture references that no one understands, in general, he would be the awkward human who sticks out in the group.

Please try to keep that kind of information in mind when writing this story.
