Love in all Forms
Author's Note: My first attempted at romance, I'll admit it ain't great. I'm trying a coupling I've never seen before so please be easy on me and no flames please, they'll only be deleted. Creative criticism is welcome
Tai looked into Kari's room to make sure his sister was asleep, she was. Tai walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table. He glance down at his watch which indicated it was 2:37 am. This was around the time they usually met. Tai as usual felt fear in the pit of his stomach, fear that Kari or his parents would wake and ask him what he was doing, or even worse if they were to overhear words that would be said tonight. He sighed and looked to the window, she would be there soon, his love. He saw her then leap into the window and land silently on the kitchen counter. Finally she had arrived, though she was a bit late, the was usual for Gatomon. She stood up on two legs and winked to Tai.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, lover." She said and let out a purr when she stopped talking.
"Your always worth the wait." Tai said, he got up and walked over to her. "Where were you?" He asked staring into her beautiful shimmering eyes.
Gatomon grinned. "Hate being copped up in here all day, I just was looking around town."
Tai rested his arms on the counter and leaned forward. Gatomon and him had been seeing each other like this for awhile now, ever since Sora had dumped him for Matt. He was happy for them and now had feelings for Gatomon stronger then the ones he ever had for Sora, but still they both decided to keep it a secret, at least for the time being. They were going to have to find away to prepare their friends for this before the could say it and he could just imagine how his parents would react. Tai looked at Gatomon, sure he saw she was beautiful even though she had the body of a cat, but how would the others she her? Though they might be able to accept this when she was Angewomon, at least that form would help a bit when it came time to tell his friends.
"Is everyone asleep?" Gatomon asked making sure the coast was clear, Tai nodded signaling it was.
"Missed you." Tai said.
"Missed you to. This whole hiding thing is hell." She said in return. Tai nodded once again.
"We're going to have to tell them, soon. I don't think I can stand this just having a relationship at two thirty thing." Tai said in agreement.
Gatomon had fears of her own, what would Tai's parents do when they find out, she couldn't stand the idea of losing him. Plus she suspected that Patamon and Veemon had crushes on her, and she felt nothing for them, how would they take the news? Still she couldn't take this anymore, she wanted to be with Tai, she would risk anything for it to happen.
"How do you think they'll take it?" Gatomon said finally speaking up.
"It doesn't matter." Tai said avoiding answering the question, he knew they would take it badly. "I don't care what they think, I love you."
Gatomon felt some relief and walked over and hugged Tai the best she could considering the size difference. He brought her mouth to Tai cheek and attempted a kiss. She sighed "This would be so much easier if I was I could digivolve into Angewomon." Gatomon said and pulled away from Tai.
Tai smiled and kissed her on the side of her face. "Don't worry about it." He said. The two continued there nightly interaction oblivious to the now awake Kari listening in from her room.
