"Is he staring at me?" I think to myself, browsing through the clothes on the rack. "Yeah he's cute, but why me?" I think to myself, peeking at him in the corner of my eye.
Suddenly, he walks towards me, and I can feel the blood rushing to my face. He was about 6' 1", a swimmers build with messy jet black hair and deep sea-green eyes, not to mention a grin that could make any girl swoon. He wasn't exactly a Calvin Cline model, but he definitely turned heads where he went.
I'm suddenly swept off my feet while he carries me bridal style, and as I got lost in his affectionate stare I here him whisper "See you soon my love." before leaning in for a kiss.
BEEP BEEP BEEP!
My eyes shoot open as I groggily reach over to turn off my alarm clock. "That was an interesting dream…Well, time for school."
—
"Hey Thalia." I yawned, closing my locker.
"Hey, when did you go to bed, you like really tired." said Thalia, looking me over.
"I'm fine, just had a weird dream last night."
"What about?"
"A guy." I mumble, blood rushing to my face.
"You had a wet dream!" grinned Thalia.
"NO! NO! NO!" I scream, feeling like a tomato. "Not like that, but in my dream, he was really sweet and really handsome looking." I sigh, fighting back a grin.
"Ok so he's amazing, but whats his name?" asks Thalia, opening the door to our classroom.
I stop walking, trying my hardest to recall my dream. "Actually, he didn't have one. To be honest, I don't think I've ever met this person before."
"Wait, you're saying you dreamed about a 'prince charming' you've never even met yet?"
"Yeah, so…" I mumbled, feeling my cheeks warm up.
"Weirdo, any way. Do you know why we're having a class meeting this morning?" wondered Thalia, taking a seat.
"I here'd it was because we were getting a new student, I wonder if-"
Suddenly, I was interrupted by the mass of students filtering into the classroom, taking all the empty seats.
"Good morning students," greeted Mr. Brunner. "I'm glad you all could make it, today we have a new student among us, So if some one could give a nock on the door, he can come in and introduce himself."
The knock came and as the door opened, my heart stopped. Walking through the door was the same mess of black hair and sea-green eyes I saw in my dream. Sporting his signature grin, he spoke in a confident voice. "Hello, my name's Percy Jackson, I'm the new kid."
He took the only empty seat left, which was right in front of me. I looked back at Thalia and could only prevent myself from screaming at what happened. Thalia looked confused before a grin of realization spread across her face, she gave me a wink and gestured for me to look forward.
I turned around and found a single piece of paper that wasn't there a moment ago. I opened it up and it read
"I guess dreams do come true."
