Author's note: Hello everyone! I was bored and was watching Avatar when I noticed that Toph and Haru made an awesome couple. So here it is, lolz plz be nice.

It was just an average day in the Earth Kingdom. when it hit me that its been 4 years since Zuko became the Fire Lord. and things have been well dull.

Don't get me wrong; I love the peace that has come over the world... it's just, well, I don't get to be around the gang much anymore. Sokka and Suki are getting married. At first I was hurt, because I was in love with that idiot, but I got over it. And Suki, unlike me, wouldn't kill him for his stupidity, so they make a great match.

Aang (twinkle toes) and Katara are engaged- took them long enough!- and they are lovey dovey all the time. It makes me sick and jealous sometimes.

Zuko being Fire Lord takes a lot of his time but the rest of it is mostly spent with Mai. They got married last year. I attended the wedding, but I felt weird. I am the only one who doesn't have 'that one special person', but then again, unlike everyone else, I wasn't looking for love or any romance either while we were traveling and trying to defeat the Fire Nation. Come to think of it... the closest thing i have ever come to loving someone 'like that' was with Sokka. I can't believe I wasted time on him. He has always been into Suki and that moon spirit.

Back to my point. I have had someone's voice stuck in my head for quite some time. His name is Haru. Though I don't have the slightest idea why I can't stop thinking about him, Katara once told me he is very handsome. Though I wouldn't know if he was. I do know his voice is very soothing. He has always been kind to me whenever our paths crossed, though it has been some time since the two of us were around each other.

Zuko and Mai's wedding was the last time I had heard from him. And for some reason that bothers me.

I then feel someone earthbend towards my home which takes me out of my thoughts.

well i better go to the front door because i know someones almost there, and although i vaguely know who it is I am too tired to really be sure. I do know who it is but when i open the door I know exactly who it is by the way they are standing.

"Haru? What the hell are you doing here so late at night, uninvited? That is extremely annoying I should beat the crud out of you for doing this, but luckily for you i am too tired to," I say, even though my heart is beating quite a bit faster.

"I am truly sorry, Toph. Katara told me I must escort you to Sokka and Sukki's wedding," Says Haru. I just stand there and pretend to earth bend Sugar Queen into the center of the earth.

"Well, since you're here, I suppose I should let you stay in one of the guest rooms..." I say, too tired to care about how I come across.

Then he does something I did not ever expect.
