"HA!" Rin said as they pulled up at the school.
"Remember your first day here? YOU CRIED!"
Kagome looked away.
She did remember.
How could she forget? I mean it was one of the worst days of her life. .
Kagome stared blankly into the air as she remembered what had happened that day.
She swallowed her saliva as she saw herself two years ago gulping down chlorine water and gasping for air.
She re-entered the world from her daydream and gasped.
She did cry, scream for her mother and fill her stomach with chlorine water.
But the present was all that really mattered. After all, one of the best swimmers in her class.
Today, she was going to be in Level 7.
The last level before she would sign up for the swim team.
Kagome was so happy she reached this far.
Even her parents were so happy to find that she had found what she loved and could do her best at. I mean, Kagome was no genius. She didn't get grades that compared to Einsteins.
In fact, she passed all her classes by a few points.
Kagome couldn't wait to get back into the pool.
She jumped out of the car and slammed the door.
Her class started at 4:45.
Kagome looked at her Baby-G watch, hoping not to be late.

Ugh…First day of class and she was late.
She let out a deep groan as she walked into the pool.
She could feel the warm air on her face.
Just the way she liked it.
Kagome quickly rushed into the girl's bathroom to change into her new green bathing suit. She put on her swim cap labeled Dolphin on the side and went outside.
When the manager saw her, he quickly pointed to her assigned lane.
She jumped in fast knowing that they had already started.
Just as she got used to the water, a boy bumped into her.
He was swimming and didn't notice she was in his way.
Surprised, Kagome swam to the wall and looked at the boy as he swam up right next to her. When he lifted his face out of the water she recognized immediately who he was.
Shippo. They had swam together in Level 1 and 2 but they parted classes soon after that.
They both stared at each other for a few seconds. She glazed into his eyes knowing that he knew exactly who she was too.
"Kagome?"Shippo asked.
"Do I know you?" Kagome said, pretending not to know who he was.
"It's me, Shippo. Remember?" he replied back.
Kagome stopped to think for a minute.
She thought to herself.
'Should I keep my cool and pretend not to remember him? Or should I just admit I do?'
"Oh I remember you!" She heard herself say.
He flashed a smile.
It was silent for a moment.
Then he pointed to his friend.
"This is Inuyasha." He said.
"Hi."
"Hey."
It was silent for a moment.
Then Kagome broke it.
"Do you guys go to the same school or something?"
"Nope." Inuyasha said.
"Then how'd you guys meet?" She replied back.
"Right here, right now." Sango said.
After a while of awkwardness, they all started to make conversation.
Kagome learned that Sango went to Bayside.
And Inuyasha went to Hunter.
Even though Sango was really cute and funny.
She couldn't help notice that Inuyasha had this sort of charm that she really liked.
