Authors Note: I don't own Katie, or any of the Power Rangers featured in this story. I do however own Julian. I saw the episode future unknown and the picture Katie had. I guessed that the young looking man was her brother and I am thinking he is older. This fic is set just after future unknown I wrote this story for two reasons.

One: I really Liked Katie as the Yellow Time Force Rangers

Two: I think that Katie is a very misunderstood ranger. I also thought that she wasnt very well known and shown throughout the series, All that went to Jen, (I am not dis-respecting Jen as I did like her)

Protecting her Family

The clockhouse stood tall and proud in the bright light of the setting sun in Silver Hills. No one living in this beautiful city knowing that it housed the five heroes of their planet, the Time force rangers. Perched on one of the ledges of a window, sat the yellow ranger Katie. She leaned against the wall and took in the amazing view that lay in front of her.

'Its so beautiful, Julian would love this view'

She smiled sadly, thinking of her older brother. It hurt being so far away, everything she saw in the time made her think of them and miss them more. Taking another deep breath she wiped the tear from her left eye. Taking out the book from underneath her, she opened it to the last entry. Picking up her pen, she wrote down the events of today. Her actions did not go un- noticed by the pink ranger Jen. Jen and the other rangers knew that Katie had been the most affected by the mission and Jen sometimes felt guilty about bringing Katie here, her spur of the moment plan had landed them far away from home.

"Hey Katie, what are you thinking about?" She asked, joining Katie on her perch.

Katie looked at her fellow team member and smiled.

"I'm fine Jen thank you, just thinking" she replied.

Jen sighed. "I'm sorry, I know you don't want to be here and that its my fault were here"

Katie shook her head and hugged Jen.

"No, its ok Jen it really is, I admit that I feel homesick and that I do miss my family, but being here knowing that I am keeping them safe makes it so much better. I would rather be here protecting them that with them know and not being able to stop the future changing"

Jen quickly hugged Katie back and then pulled herself away.

"I know what you mean, it is better being here" she replied. The two female rangers shared a laugh together.

"FRAX"

Ransik bellowed as he searched his ship for the robot. He walked past his daughter Nadira who was enjoying a manicure from the cyclobots.

"Nadira my sweet, have you seen that usless excuse for a piece of tin?" he asked.

"He's over there behind closed doors daddy" she replied. "He almost broke one of my nails as he went past" she whined.

Ransik walked to the room Frax was in and banged on the door.

"FRAX WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THERE? I NEED YOU TO COME UP WITH A PLAN TO DESTROY THE RANGERS"

Frax walked out of the door with a evil cackle and turned to his master.

"Already done sire, I have just completed my newest work." he sneered.

Ransik narrowed his eyes and folded his arms.

"Explain it to me then" he growled.

Frax held up his head smugly

"Certainly, I have created a device that will tap in to time, we can bring back anyone or anything from any time in the world."

Ransik bit his lip in concentration.

"Brilliant, but what to use it on?" he thought out loud.

Frax stepped up beside him.

"I have just the person Ransik, you see I noticed the yellow ranger is feeling a little homesick she is far away from home. I think we should plan a family reunion" he said.

Ransik Laughed. "Wonderful, lets give the yellow ranger her family reunion"
