Here is the newest installment of my BABIES! series, so if you haven't read Aurora and Bailey first, read them now! I don't feel like explaining everything again. Thank you to all of my awesome reviewers, favorites, and alerts! Also, Ron Hummel, is an OC who will be appearing in the fics for K, L, O, S, V, X, and Z, and maybe a few others. She is the daughter of Burt and Carole and is seven and a half years old when this fic starts. She will have her own one-shot.

Mercedes, already four months pregnant, walked into her bedroom as soon as she heard the sobbing. It was an unfamiliar sound: she had only seen Finn cry a few times before. Never had she heard those gut-wrenching sobs, though. It scared her a little, but she loved Finn too much to let him be by himself like this.

Things could not have worked out more perfect. She was married to "the one," who also happened to be one of her best friend's brothers. Technically speaking, she and Kurt were related. Kurt was happily married to Blaine, and Burt and Carole were together, too. She even had a sister-in-law: Burt and Carole gave birth to a daughter on Independence Day of 2012. Ron Hummel was seven now with an amazing voice that EVERYBODY knew about. She united the "Hudmels" into one family, which Mercedes was all too happy to officially join.

Mercedes had kept in touch with all of the Glee kids. It was surreal how they had all ended up finding love in one another. She and Finn had even visited baby Rory a couple of weeks ago in New York. Rachel Puckerman, to the surprise of nobody, was starring as Elphaba in "Wicked" on Broadway, and Noah owned a very unique company. He created security systems, but many of his employees were former criminals. Noah's vision was to use the criminals' "skills" and put them to good use to create the best security systems in the business, all while providing a new start to ex-cons.

"Honey, what's wrong?" Mercedes asked, rubbing Finn's back.

"I don't know if I can do this," Finn sobbed, looking up. Upon seeing the confusion in Mercedes' face, he added, "This being a dad thing. I never knew my dad, and even though I had my mom, for most of my childhood, I felt so alone. I can't do it to my baby. What if something happens to one of us and he or she is all alone? Kurt is the perfect brother, but there is a big difference between getting a brother when you are six and when you are sixteen."

Pulling him into a tight hug, Mercedes consoled, "Finn, it is going to be all right. I know I will never understand your pain, but I know everything is going to be okay. You and I have a habit of ending up with a happy ending." She knew that there wasn't anything more that she could say, so they just sat there, holding each other, until they fell asleep.

Four and a half months later, Finn and Mercedes Hudson got their happy ending. You see, some things are just meant to be. Mercedes falling in love with her best friend's brother was one example. But this story is another instance where things work out perfectly. It just so happened that their OB-GYN make a little mistake: an easy mistake to make, but one that make a big difference. And there is a big difference between one baby and two babies. Yes, on June 25, 2020, two new babies were welcomed into the Hudson family.
