Elizabeth... Elizabeth.
That name, it kept calling her name. She desperately wished it was unfamiliar, she wished that this cursed name was not hers. She hated her parents for giving such a name.. that name. She resented everyone who said it, the full in-box of her family calling her name - begging her to answer. The knocking on the doors and the calling of that .. name.
The name that he owned
She looked at this Elizabeth in the mirror. Wondering what she did to deserve this, and in the last mirror of her house, he was as vivid as ever. Nonchalantly lounging in the background on the corner of the couch, that horrible smile. Chuckling, laughing at her tantrum. Amused by the state of her once beautiful home. Every surface shattered, chairs and tables torn up. Things moved, out of place, glass littered the floor and clothes lay strewn in every possible nook and cranny. Mocking her.
"You'll never leave me alone."
She stated, not a question. A matter of fact. She had no computer, she couldnt find any sense of mail or office supplies. She had no one to tell now, they all thought she was crazy. Maybe she was.
"What's the matter? Why dont you .. smile? hhehhehehehe."
She screamed, no longer scared but in rage. Fist suddenly slammed into the mirror shattering the shards into pieces. His image was jolted, suddenly thousands in every little shard. That smile, that horrible jagged inhuman smile. And it was too much, too much to bear. She didnt want to see it anymore - she hadnt slept in weeks. She had eaten in days. Everywhere she looked, every crevice every time she closed her eyes all she saw was.. this smiling dog.
She knew there was only one solution.
Even as the glass had torn up her ragged fingertips and hands, she plunged the digits into her eye sockets and wrapped them around the gooey auds. They clutched it as if it was a baseball, bucket fulls of blood suddenly stained her cheek and ran into the floor and blood curdling screams took the area over. A yank of the wrist and a pop and the eyes securely wrapped in her hands out of her body. She threw them from her body and squished them between her toes. She didnt need them anymore.
And even as the pain was overwhelming.. she was.. relieved.
For just a moment .. there was no image, there was .. complete silence.
For just a moment she smiled.
And then he laughed again.
And blood pooled the floors and she fell to her knees and bled to death.
2:39 pm.
Elizabeth Taylor Lee was found on the bathroom floor in her home, drenched in a pool of her own blood. A blue eye floated two feet away, staring at her parents as they screamed.
End Chapter.
