The Deadly Kiss
By day we sleep,
by night we walk,
and when you weep,
you know,
we won't have time to talk.
As I sink my teeth into your skin,
for then you know,
I will win.
You may struggle with all your might,
but go ahead,
I won't fight.
I have powers you may underestimate.
Being immortal is just so great!
Taking the life of pure innocents,
roaming in the night sky,
but all you can and will see,
is just a young man,
passing by.
By now your blood is surely gone,
thanks for being my little pawn.
Now I must leave you,
dead and still,
But I will come back tomorrow,
for my next kill.
OK, I know that this is a very short poem, but that is because this is the first poem I have ever posted. I would really appreciate it if all you readers would review this and tell me how I did, and what I could improve on. Thanks!
