Chapter 1

It was a cool spring day. The bus from Peach Creek Junior High was leaving for Gotham city. "Oh boy we are going to the home of Batman and Robin" said Ed. "Ed, Batman and Robin are myths" said Double D. "Will you guys quit talking about Batman and talk about Bruce Wayne" said Eddy.
The bus ride was really short so they were there in a hour. " Wow this city is beautiful Plank" said Jonny. The bus rode up to a huge hotel. The kids all gathered out of the bus in front of the hotel. "Kids we will have two students in each except for Ed Edd n Eddy" said a teacher.
Everyone got settled in there rooms and had dinner. After everyone finished dinner they hung out in the arcade then after a few hours everyone went to bed. The next morning Ed Double D and Eddy were out and about early. "Hey sockhead why did we have to get up so early anyway" asked Eddy alittle sheepishly. "Because we need to see all the historic sites in Gotham" said Double D. " I want to see Batman" said Ed. "Ed, Batman is not real" said Double D.
The Eds went to many sites and Ed kept looking for Batman. Then Double D stopped in front of a alley way. "Double D, why'd we stop" asked Eddy. " Because this is Crime Alley where Bruce Wayne's parents were murdered" said Double D. Just then a raspy voice says "Hey pal give me a dollar".
The voice came from a ratty man with a gun. "Oh crap" says Eddy. " Give me your money now" says the man. " Um Mr. please don't hurt us" says Double D. " GIVE ME THE MONEY NOW" shouts the man. Just then a bat shaped weapon hits and knocks the gun out of the mans hand.
"No not him not now" says the man turning around. Just then a boot kicks the man in the face. The man is now on the ground unconscious and next to him is a human bat. At that moment Ed takes a picture of the bat with his camera. Then the man glides away. There is a moment of silence then Ed says "Cool".
Soon the Eds run all the way back to the hotel to tell the kids what they saw. "Oh my god what just happened back there" says Eddy breathing hard. "Batman saved us" says Ed. "Ed, might just be right Eddy, we might have seen Batman" says Double D. Just then Nazz and the other kids come to them. "Hey guys whats up" asks Nazz. " Guys this might sound crazy but we seen Batman" says Eddy. " What, Batman isn't real dork" says Kevin.
" We did see Batman" says Ed. "Sure and I seen the Green Hornet" says Rolf. Just then Ed shows everyone the picture of Batman. Before anyone can say anything a boy crashes through the hotel window. Ed looks at the boy and then he says "That's Robin".
