CHAPTER 1 THE BEGINNING
Never had Riku wanted so much to leave the island and see new worlds. And never had Riku felt a sense of longing for it. He knew thought that if he ever wanted to get off this island he would need help. That is where Sora and Kairi came into his plan. He was to convince them to help him build a raft to get them to new worlds. Then once the raft was complete he would leave with out them in the middle of the night while everyone is a sleep.
It took a month for Kairi, Sora, and Riku to complete the raft but Riku knew it was worth it. Every thing was falling into place. All they needed now was food for what mite be a long journey. Finally it was time to put his plan to work. Never had Riku been so close to completing his plan.
"Sora!"
"Yes Kairi."
"Lets leave this place! Lets go, just the two of us. We can be together forever. Don't you want that Sora?"
"Of course I do, but what about the others. Do you really want to leave them behind?"
" Not really. But we would be together, and that's all I want."
"You've change Kairi, you're not the same."
" Maybe Sora. But I know one thing, we will all go together in the end."
It was finally time to put Riku's plan to the test. He now making sure that all the things he needed where in there place so that nothing could go wrong. Riku worked rather fast seeing that a storm was coming. He decided that he would wait for the storm to blow over before leaving. He would wait all night if he had to, even if it meant setting sail just as Sora and Kairi came around the corner. Little did Riku know life had its own idea for him.
"Sora, dinner time." Sora's mom yelled. As Sora sat up in his bed the sound of rolling thunder sounded in his ears. He turned his head to see out his window to see how far the storm was from the island. When he saw how close the storm was he realized that they had forgot to tie the raft to a tree to keep it from drifting away. Forgetting all about his mother's call for him to come down for diner he jumped out of his window and ran over to the dock and saw Riku and Kairi's boats (a/n = has anyone ever realized that they where building a raft when they each had their own boat to go to the other islands around them). He realized that they must have seen the storm to and remembered that they forgot to tie the raft down as well.
Riku had never seen such a storm in his life. It was almost like the island was falling apart. Just as he turned around a meteorite hit him on hid back and soon a force so powerful was now swelling inside of him form the top of his head down to his feet. A voice in his head echoed THIS WORLD HAS BEEN CONNECTED! TIED TO THE DARKNESS, AND NOW HAS YOUR HEART.
