A/N: I was watching season eight when I thought how of the idea for this.

"Who is it?" asked Sam.
"It's Midway," replied the gate technician.
"Lower the shield," said Sam.
Sam walked down towards the 'gate to greet who ever their inbound traveler was.
To say that Sam was happy when SG1 walked through the 'gate was an understatement; Sam was excited to see her old team of whom she hadn't seen in quite awhile.
"Okay so who hacked into the SGC computer to get here?" asked Sam mock accusingly.
"Now how could we do that without you with us Sam?" asked Daniel.
"I suppose, so why are ya here?" asked Sam.
"We're on downtime," replied Cam.
"And General Landry let you come all the way to Pegasus just to see me?" Sam continued with the questions.
"Yep," replied Vala in a cheery voice.
"Indeed Colonel O'Neill," replied Teal'c.
Just as Teal'c said his reply Rodney was walking down to talk to Sam.
"I believe you're wrong she isn't Colonel O'Neill she's Colonel Carter," Rodney said in a I'm-right-you're-wrong tone of voice.
"Actually Rodney, Teal'c is right officially I am Colonel Samantha O'Neill but to avoid confusion I go by Colonel Carter," corrected Sam.
Rodney began muttering stuff like "Why am I always the last to know."
"Rodney!" Sam got his attention "nobody else knows except for Doctor Keller. Actually I wasn't hoping anyone here would find out like this."
Rodney left having forgotten what he was going to tell the Colonel before the interesting conversation that just occurred.
