Holy Matrimony
A Team Rocket Poem by Zehra
A purple sunset. A flash of red.
There are matters which have been left unsaid.
She is beneath, with her head hung low...
To her warmth and gaze must I go.
Calling out from my descending post
To the one I adore the most
She turns, and upon her are the sun's golden rays
Her face is soft as she breathes my name
She runs across, reaching for my hand
I pull her up, the one in command.
Will she be angry with my blunder?
She simply stares at me with wonder
Did she really fear I would not return?
My dreams don't mean anything without her.
And now two sapphires are shining bright
Into emeralds, as sunset turns to night
Embracing the other with our eyes,
We hardly hear our partner's cries.
Riches and pokemon are worth quite the sum...
But together, and only then, do we have our freedom.
