Virtually Unbreakable
I'm stuck inside a video game and I can't get out. If only I could go and see the world for what it actually is, instead of a bunch of fairy tales and mystical creature and lands. That's my dream.
There's someone coming, I'll be someone's puppet again and die with their failure just like with the other people that have tried before. This is one of the hardest games that has ever been created. No one has been able to complete all levels, and they're only 7. Ha! What makes this guy think he has a chance? Even some of the most dedicated gamers have tried this game out and have miserably failed. But, the look on this guy's face seems way too confident. Maybe, just maybe. No no, I'm just going over my head; he won't be the game and I'll continue to be stuck in this game. When it was first released the creator mentioned that whoever cleared all levels would see something never seen before. He kept that a secret but it is the main character, me, being capable of coming out of the game. This person might be capable of actually beating the game, his face expression says "I'm ready", and if he does I'll be able to finally get out of this and make my dream come true. For that reason I'll try to add effort into this as well, even if it won't help as much. I'm ready.
The game starts just like always. The introduction is read out loud, the sound of that beautiful voice that from one moment to the other leads me to my death.
The stranger starts out quite well, he came up with a strategy to use his surroundings to his advantage to avoid traps. People have tried that before, but if my memory is up to date from the moment someone first played, this is the first time it actually works. He might be a stranger to me, but he isn't such a stranger to the game.
As I told you that, the stranger managed to get to level 5. The words "New High Score" appeared in the screen, he's the first one to ever get this far into the game, others have rarely ever managed to make it anywhere near level 3. I'm putting all faith on you sir, I'm sure to get my dream, you've helped me gain faith so I will try and help even more.
The stranger managed to get to the very start of level 7 when from nowhere comes a voice saying "Jayson. Jayson?" I take a look and I see a group of guys just by the entrance heading thus way. The stranger keeps the game going, I'll get out of here for sure now, nothing can distract him, nothing can…
As he turned to acknowledge the group I fell in a trap, there was a dragon and I got turned into ashes. Another disappointing death, I guess there will always be someone that'll let you down.
