Fishy: I do not own Yu Yu Hakusho.
"Blah."- talking
Blah.- Yusuke thinking
Yusuke sat on the roof of his school skipping class. He stared blankly up at the clear blue sky, then yawned. Man, I'm bored! I almost wish Koenma would give us another case. At least I'm meeting the others at the old hags place. Wonder what the others are up to. I wonder what Hiei's up to. The spirit detective had long admited he cared for the jagan holder more than a friend or brother. At first he had been very anger and confused, now he just acts normal around the gang and hopes Hiei will never find out. For one, they were both guys. Yusuke didn't see the problem in that, but Hiei might. It was fine just being friends with him. He sighed.
"Hmph. Figures you'd be here, detective."
Yusuke jumped slightly and looked over to see Hiei standing there. Yusuke grinned at the demon and placed a hand over his heart.
"Damn Hiei, I could have had a heart attack." he joked.
"Hn." Hiei answered and walked over to stand infront of the teen.
"What's up, Hiei? Not like you to appear at my school."
Hiei said nothing and sat next to Yusuke with a thoughtful expression. Yusuke stared at him for an answer. Hiei closed his eyes and opened his mouth.
"I came for advice." he stated.
"Advice? Okay, I'll bite, what do you want to talk about?" Yusuke replied with a curious look.
"I'm pursuing someone." Hiei said.
"Who pissed ya off?" Yusuke asked.
"Not like that. I'm pursuing someone to be my mate."
Yusuke felt a stab in his heart. He mentally shook it off and put on a smile. He had to play it cool.
"Aw, did our little three-eyed demon fall in love?" he teased.
Hiei got an anime vein, but didn't snap at him about how love was for pathetic humans. Hiei crossed his arms over his cheast with his eyes still shut. Yusuke faked a laugh.
"Detective." Hiei growled in warning.
"Okay, okay. Well, I think you should look for signs of them liking you and you should give little hits." Yusuke suggested.
"Like what?" Hiei questioned.
"Hm, you could be nicer to them. You know, say 'hi', show some concern for them. A small gift or two."
Hiei nodded. Yusuke wondered why the hell he was giving his crush advice on going out with someone.
"If you catch signs of them feeling the same, then you should tell them about you feelings." Yusuke finished.
Hiei uncrossed his arms and looked beside himself to Yusuke.
"It's that simple?" he asked.
"Yep, that's it." Yusuke said.
Hiei 'hn'ed his thanks and jumped away leaving a heart-broken Yusuke. He let his face loose it's normal grin and gazzed at the ground sadly. He closed his eyes and leaned back. He might have feel asleep, if a sudden pect on his lips hadn't woken he up. He sat up quickly and looked around. His brown eyes met crimson ones. He blushed and studdered.
"Hiei, did you just-just..." he trailed off.
"Kiss you? Hn." Hiei said and took a step forward.
He kneeled to Yusukes height and stared into his eyes. Yusuke's blush grew and her got a chuckle from the demon.
"I thought you liked someone." Yusuke said.
"I do. Is there a rule saying it can't be you?" Hiei questioned.
"No, but-"
"Do you not like me kissing you?" Hiei cut him off.
"Well, no, but-"
"Are you disgusted by my feelings for you?" he continued.
"Of course not!" Yusuke responded.
"Do you share them?"
"I-I do." Yusuke's face now matched Kurama's hair.
"Then shut up." Hiei ordered before kissing him again.
This time he responded happily. Once they pulled apart Yusuke laughed.
"What's so funny?" Hiei asked as Yusuke sat him in his lap.
"I just realized, I was supposed to at Genkai's a hour ago."
Fishy: I have no idea why I wrote this. Has anyone seen my brain? JK. I kinda like this pairing and I was bored. Thanks for reading and review.
