Awkwardly
Author's Note: just something I could see happening, something I thought up while taking weird Bleach quizzes and watching Finding Neverland…
Supposed to be when Ulquiorra kidnapped Orihime, but I kinda have yet to see how it ends, so this happened. Enjoy?
He didn't notice at first. But then, neither did she. It was all very subtle, you see. Simple shifts. Quick, accidental touches. A glance.
It was just-
He saw her all the time.
It wasn't even that long. For him, it was so short.
Too little. He started looking forward to those minutes. He'd get to touch her a little, look at her.
Too soon He came to "save" her. It ended when She slapped him across the face.
And he took her away, and they escaped. He had a few last glimpses of her locks of carrot orange hair. She glanced back at him, and then was gone.
And he was left standing alone, awkwardly, strangely lonely.
Wondering what the hell happened and-
"God, why am I crying?"
