A Starry Musical Night

Summary: To get away from the crowd and noise during a ball, Elena lures Naomi away with her music which turns into something more.

Disclaimer: I don't own Elena of Avalor. However I do support the ship of Elena and Naomi so that counts as something.

The ball was a simple one. Well as simple as Elena could arrange it at least.

Now she was tiring of standing there with a caked on smile as she watched the people around her dance, wondering if she would get her chance to shine.

Elena was at least thankful she had brought her guitar to perform with as she walked away from the crowd, strumming the strings of her guitar like the flow of water from the fountains outdoors.

She glanced at the night sky as she walked towards the balcony in front of her, realizing just how perfect of a night it would be to play her guitar.

"Here it goes," she muttered to herself as she began to play a few notes.

Those few notes soon turned into a melody as footsteps were unnoticed by the playing teenager.

"That was beautiful Elena," a voice said as she finished, causing Elena to jump.

"Naomi!" A light blush hit Elena's cheeks. "You heard me?"

Naomi laughed, gently nudging her friend in the ribs. "How could I not?! It was beautiful!" A small blush appeared on the girl's cheeks. "Almost as much as you."

Elena was taken aback at the sudden confession. "Naomi I don't understand it. You like me?"

"I-I do," Naomi admitted with a shy smile. "I have been in love with you since we've met and well I was-"

"Embarrassed to tell me?" Elena questioned with a smile of her own.

Naomi nodded as Elena kissed her neck gently before taking her hand, treating her to more kisses.

The two laughed with each kiss that they gave each other as nearly an hour in, they heard small giggles coming from a hidden Isabel.

Once the little girl had promised to keep their relationship a secret, Elena and Naomi went back to embracing each other before the clock had stuck to ten.

In a tangle of arms and legs, the two teenagers got off each other as Elena smiled at her supposingly now girlfriend.

"Was that great or what?!" She asked with a grin as Elena fixed her dress.

"Better than the entire ball combined!" Naomi giggled before feeling her neck. "I wonder if Mateo has a spell in his book that can remove marks on anyone's skin? Because I don't want to have to explain to Father about my sudden relationship with Crown Princess Elena of Avalor."

Elena laughed, taking her hand as the two went together to Mateo's workshop. "Don't worry. I think we can catch him before he leaves for the night. He may be a royal wizard but he's no match for me."

"Or Gabe!" Naomi exclaimed as Elena giggled, realizing that maybe the night she had was the best night that she had in a long time.
