Friendship's Chain

In the duels of which Yugi and Joey face off against any opponent, Tristan and Téa were always there for both of them, cheering them on in the hopes of victory. Yes, Tristan Taylor and Téa Gardener would always be known as the cheerleaders in their little group, but there is more to them than meets the eye.
They both cheer for their companions in battle, unbeknownst to their own feelings emerging through support. Sure, they have been friends for a while, and sometimes camaraderie can turn into affection of the utmost brilliance.
Even if Tristan and Téa had secretly loved each other, they knew that there would obstacles in the way. Téa had feelings for Yugi and Yami while Tristan, along with Duke, liked Serenity. And besides, they were friends, friends of Yugi and Yami, who had a world to save, and they have a mission to complete. Some things were more important.
The whole situation would be too complicated, and sadly there was nothing that could be done about it. But we all wonder, would it be best too keep their emotions bottled up and some secrets never too be told? Would it be best to have fickle dreams and hopes to be locked away in the glass-like threshold of possibilities? We may never know.
If they do have feelings, perhaps it would be best if they would tell each other when the time is right, so that they would feel that their affection wouldn't be so ridiculous after all, due to friendship's chain.
