3rd person POV
Y/n was sitting down at her desk at Heartland Academy drawing what looked like different duel monsters. Shark noticed y/n staring at the paper frowning "Hey y/n what are you doing?" He asked walking over to her
"Oh Shark, I'm thinking up a new way of summoning, you know how we have XYZ's and in the past we had Fusion's and Synchro's, well I thought up one! I call it... Pendulum Summoning! Do you wanna know how it works? Shark looked mildly interested
"...alright"
"Okay so these Pendulum monsters look different from regular monster cards, they each have a number on them all under 12. I'll give you an example of how it works. Say you have pendulum monsters with the number one and number eight on them, you can summon both of them to the field at the same time! Here's where it gets better, pendulum summoning lets you summon as many monsters as you want between those numbers. So you could bring out any number of monsters between the levels of two and seven! Sounds cool right?" Y/n happily exclaimed. Shark looked uninterested.
"Sounds stupid and the name will never catch on" with that Shark walked away. Y/n looked at her drawings again.
"Yeah I guess he's right" y/n scrunched up the papers and threw them in the bin then ran out to catch up to Shark.
