A Lovely Crush

It was a cold September night. A walk in the forest seemed as a good idea. To be alone and just enjoy the silence. But the my idea changed from good to bad when I met Jack on the way. He asked me if he could give me some company and as stupid as I am of course I said yes.

Awkward silence filled the air as we made our way through the trees. Not even birds could be heard from miles away. I coughed. "Catching a cold are we?" Jack smirked. I looked up and met his ice blue eyes staring into my green ones. " I hope not. It seems as a waste of time at the moment." I replied. He laughed. Then silence.

It has always been like this, awkward but I don't know why. Ever since he started at my school I've had a crush on him. His snow white hair and perfect smile made my mind go crazy. When he started to talk to me and I got to know him a little more my little crush only became bigger and bigger and now I don't even know what I feel anymore. M...maybe love? No! He's just a crush.

We kept on walking and I was getting more nervous by every minute passing. Suddenly I felt something grab my hand. It was Jack. He turned me around and made me stare right into his eyes. "I have a question to you." He said. "I have always thought that you were different from the others." "Gee thanks." I commented. "No, not like that." Jack sighed. "I mean like special. I have always had my eyes on you since I first got to know you. Y…your eyes, freckles and smile is so beautiful and you…your lips looks so soft..." He glanced down at my lips while I couldn't believe what was happening. "I, I think I am in love with you and I know it's pretty sudden and all but I've known you for a while now and I just want to ask. Do you want to go out with me?"

Standing at the front porch to my house Jack was about to leave but before that he grabbed my hand and looked at me. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow then." "Yeah." I agreed. Silence filled the air as we looked at each other. He was about to walk away and it was then I couldn't take it anymore! I ran to him and hugged him from behind. He was surprised at first I noticed but then he relaxed and I could feel how his smile grew. "I like you Jack, I like you a lot." I muffled into his shirt. " I like you too Hiccup."
