(Welcome to My first story... "Garfield: Little Shock Of Horrors!" I think you will enjoy reading it as much as I am writing it!)

"Come on, Garfield, time for bed."

"Jon, can't we watch the monster movie marathon?"

"No, Garfield! Let's go to bed. Just leave it on channel 654."

-On the the news of channel 654-

"Dr. Bonkers, you say that a meteor is going to destroy the earth!"

"Yes, In a matter of 2 hours."

-Outside the TV-

"TWO HOURS!"

Said Garfield and Jon simultaneously. Then Odie entered the Living room.

"Arf, arf, arf! (What's going on?)"

"It's going to be the end of the world in two hours!"

"ARRRR! (NOOOO!)"

Soon a bang at the came and when Jon opened the door, it was Liz, Arlene, Nermal and Lyman.

"Did You hear the news, Jon?!"

Liz asked scarcely.

"YES!"

Garfield soon suggested:

"Let's eat all the food in the fridge!"

"Good Idea, Garfie-"

Everyone gave Garfield an angry glare.

"What?"

A light bulb appeared over Jon's head.

"Let's visit Dr. Bonkers!"

-1 hour later-

"Yes, in an hour the world shall disappear of the face of the... universe.

"Nothing can stop it?"

Said Lyman as Dr. Bonkers walked to the left. Suddenly Bonkers, thermometer burst. The ran outside and saw that their tires had popped. But in the sky was a huge ball of fire! Dr. Bonkers quickly ran to his home, a few meters away from the lab. Then the ran into the laboratory and lay near a table.

"Well, this is it guys."

Said Jon smiling at his friends and family. Everyone closed their eyes. But Jon kept his eyes open to see the meteor, hit. But it hurled past (but it still shook everything and knocking out Jon.

-The next day-

Garfield opened his eyes first. Looking around dimly, hey saw that the group was fine. Then he woke everyone up.

"Wake up! Wake up!"

They got frights and realized that each of the others were fine. they got out of the place and amazingly that the world was fine!

"We are alive. WE ARE A LIVE!"

Shouted Lyman, which the others put there hands on their ears. Suddenly they found an TV that still worked.

-TV-

"We are all safe! The planet has not come to an end! And reports say a piece of meteor broke from the one that was supposed to hit us! It landed in Texas!"

They took another look around. The place was no big shakes. It needed Repairing. The buildings were destroyed and they needed to move.

"Odie, do you want to see the meteor?"

Arlene Asked.

"Yip! (Yes!)"

Odie replied. They showed the map and calender to Jon.

"Wow, It's August the 8th, Odie's Birthday! Just after a bad birthday for Lyman! Hey, let's take Odie to the meteor!"

"Ruff! (Okay!) Yeah! That would be great! Perfect!"

Said everyone (Odie, Nermal, Liz and Garfield)

-On the flight-

All the people were eating cake and having fun.

"I'm surprised that the airplanes still work!"

Said Jon smiling. Nermal jumped out and said:

"There it is, Texas!"

The group stared down and it was Texas!

"Woof, Woof. (And there's my special.)"

Then they saw a huge hole with a rock.

"Happy Birthday boy!"

Said Garfield!
