"Ally," I heard my name but didn't look up; I started to open up my book bag and get my Mp3 player out when the car stopped.
"Allyson Muar." My mom said in her "stern" voice.
"What!" I yelled at her. I was never very fond of her; she had always been "the bad guy."
"We're here." She said while getting out of the car quickly, giving me her "stern" look. I didn't answer, or even look up, I just continued with what I was doing.
When I got my Mp3 player out I searched through all of my songs, not one to mach my mood right now. Disappointed, but I'm happy. Happy that I finally got out of that town, disappointed that I had to come here.
We were in Indiana, gay ass Indiana. All I could think about is my mom's next tour. She was Cobra Starship's band manager. I was never allowed to go with her on tours, even though I'm 18 and I can take care of myself. But she said things will be changing soon. Hopefully more freedom, hopefully I'm allowed on tours.
Finally I went inside. I didn't bring my bags; I didn't need them anytime soon. I saw my mom putting her things into piles on the couch.
"Mom," I called for her.
"What Hun?" She said in her "polite" voice. You can always guess her moods.
"When am I allowed to go on tours with you, when am I "mature" enough." I asked "Even though I'm already old enough to take care for myself." I added to low so she couldn't hear.
"Now, the next tour I go on with them, you can go." She said happy, but serious. I just looked at her, surprised, and so happy. I finally get to meet Cobra Starship, my favorite band.
"Your serious." I said, not a question more like and unblelivable statment.
"Yes, yes dear." She said smiling, she was happy to see me happy for once.
Ever scince dad left nothing had been the same, we had always been stressed. My mom with the weight of going on tours and having to leave me. That's why she wanted to live with me, because it would basically be my house, because she would be gone most of the time.
"Do you want to know who they will be playing with?" She said, trying to be sly, she knew that I would want to know.
"A duh,"
"Well, Hey Monday, Fall Out Boy, it's basically their tour, but everyone else is playing at least five songs, All Time Low, Metro Station, and of course Cobra Starship." She smiled with the ending, she had always though of them as sons.
''Wha- Ho-'' i didn't know what to say. I loved all of those bands. And to actually get to meet them in person. Woah.
"I know, exciting." she said and walked off.
"I'm going to go to the store!" I called after her.
"Key's are still in the car!" She called back. I ran outside jumped in the car and started the engine. I turned to the right station. And you never guess who came on. You'll never going to guess how much I freaked out.
