Don't own anything :)

Draco and Ginny had met at midnight on the lake shore, by a huge oak tree whose boughs were suspended over the water. Ginny was late. She had been held up by Ron and Harry in the common room. Neither had wanted to go to bed. Ginny knew that Harry had a thing for her and she used to have a thing for him. But he too far too long to do anything about it so she had given up. Finally. One night she was in the room of requirement trying to get away from Harry and Ron. Harry had finally admitted his feelings for her that day, by kissing her in the middle of the common room. Harry was embarassed that Ginny didn't like him and Ron was angry that she had turned his best friend down. That hypocrite had hated it when she was going out with Michael. It was this night when Draco had come into the room of requirement. Both had been surprised to see each other but had eventually started a civil conversation. They met up regularly after that and eventually became a couple. Not that anyone knew.

Today was Draco's birthday and she felt terrible for being late. She ran down to the shore and saw him standing by th water. She stood next to him and slipped her hand into his. He turned to her and she started to explain why she was late. He lifted a finger to her lips to shush her. He tilted her face to his and kissed her lightly. "Happy birthday" She whispered "How does it feel to be a legal adult?" He flashed her a grin and shrugged "Legal" She smiled and slipped her arm around his waist. "Gin?" She looked up at him "Yeah?" He glanced at the water and then back to her. "If we both survive this war... And I don't get arrested..." She cut him off "You won't! You're trying to protect your family!" He half smiled at her and stroked her cheek. "If I don't get arrested... Will you marry me?" Ginny felt her jaw drop and Draco chuckled. "I understand if you don't say yes... Even if we're not arrested the Malfoy's won't have anything... I don't know if they'll let me marry... reproduce..." Ginny frowned at him and said "Draco, I don't care if we have to go across the sea to Australia to get married! I don't care if our rings come from pig's bloody noses! Of course I'll marry you!"

And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand,
They danced by the light of the moon,
The moon,
The moon,
They danced by the light of the moon.
