Hey.
I dunno how I got this idea. It's something that came from the shower, which is the one true place of creativity may I add. Like seriously, half of the stuff I create comes from the shower.
Before I get sidetracked, I want to tell you guys that Tom will be human here. As well as multiple characters like Kelly or Ponyhead. Why? Because it's the only way I can fit them to be into this story. That and I wanted to try a College AU. I didn't want this story to be just Marco once again, I think adding Tom as his best friend would change things up.
Oh yeah. If you don't know what a College AU is, it's basically SVTFOE but with more emphasis on school life and human characters. Or at least that's what I think.
Anyways, enjoy the story.

Going Away To College
"C'mon, they're waiting for us!" A seventeen year-old boy with salmon hair said to his friend. "Hurry up!"
"I'm trying!" The brunette ran as fast as he could to catch up with the boy. "I hear them! They're coming!"
"That's why I'm telling you to move!" The salmon haired boy grabbed him by the arms and pulled him to run at his pace.
Inside the dark hallways of Bakersfield Academy, were two boys running away for their lives. As they ran, they heard the screams call their names. They were getting closer. Each step that two boys made, they will take two steps behind them. It was only a matter of time, before they would catch up to them. Turning left, both of the boys saw the exit to the school.
"Yes! We're here!" The salmon-haired boy sprinted towards the exit; his friend being pulled by his hand. "C'mon! Just a couple more seconds!"
"Tom~" A feminine voice rang from behind. "Come back and I'll let you do anything to me~"
"How about NO!" Tom shouted back as he kept on running with his friend in tow.
It had been four weeks ever since the boys found out the entire female portion of the school had taken an interest in them. And what a tough four weeks it had been. Running away from women had not been an easy task. Jumping in dumpsters, hiding in lockers, stuffing their heads down the toilet, it was horrible! It felt like they were being bullied, and the bullies were themselves! All in the name of trying to run away from cute, sexy, and possibly horny girls.
"Tom! They're here!" The brunette shouted in alarm as he started sprinting as well; catching up to Tom's pace of running. Both boys then saw a crowd of dark creatures appear from a hallway near the exit. "Crud! They used a shortcut! We're gonna be trapped!"
"Please don't leave me, Marco~" Another feminine voice rang from behind them. "I'll be sad if you do!"
"Sorry, Juliet!" Marco loudly apologized as he kept on running. "I'm not ready for something like this, okay?!"
They we're about to be trapped. Coming to an abrupt halt in the middle of the dark hallways, they saw that they stopped at an intersection. Left, right; up, down, they we're surrounded. Girls. They were everywhere. A dim light came from above, showing the two boys in the middle. They looked at them like prey waiting to be eaten. Tom quickly put up a fighting position while Marco stuck his back to Tom.
"Looks like we're fighting our way out of this one..." Tom growled as he glared one of the girls.
"Ooh~ such a bad boy! I love it!" A girl purred from one of the sides. They weren't sure which side though.
Marco ignored the woman's flirty comment and put on a defensive stance. "Are you kidding me?! I don't want to hurt a girl!"
"Aww~ he's so sweet~" Another girl purred and Marco shivered. "If you become mine, I'll give you something sweeter~"
Marco blushed at the thought. Tom saw this and slapped the boy back to reality. "Hey! Snap out of it! We need to focus if we're gonna get out of here alive!"
"R-Right!" Marco tensed at the amount of women before them. "Tom, I don't think we'll be able to handle this many..."
"Oh don't worry. We won't be fighting alone." Tom smirked; a sign that warned everyone something bad was about to happen.
BANG!
An explosion came from above.
"You two, move!" A random boy shouted before throwing a ball with powder inside of it. The ball hit the crowd of women and exploded; showering and distracting all of them. The boy kept on throwing more makeshift smoke grenades at the women, giving the boys a chance to escape. Marco and Tom looked up to see Ferguson and Alfonzo bringing down a rope towards them. The rope only made it halfway to the ground, but it was enough for the two to reach. "Come on! We haven't got all day!"
"You first!" Tom urged Marco as he saw one of the girls lunge for him. He sidestepped and let the girl hit the others. "I'll hold them off for now, just go!"
"Right!" With that, Marco leaped for the rope. He felt his skin painfully grind against the rope as he was being pulled up towards safety. He grit his teeth from the pain and before he knew it, he was on the roof of the academy. Looking down on his friend, he saw Tom effecitively dodging the women lunging for him. But he knew he was slowly getting tired, the sloppy movement was a sign that was clear in Marco's eyes. "Tom! Hurry up!"
"I'm trying!" He shouted back. He fended a couple more women via dodging and pushing before jumping for the rope. As soon as he had a firm grip, they quickly pulled him up. Although his trip isn't quite as smooth as Marco's...
"I've got his leg!" A girl squealed as she started climbing up Tom's body. "Now all I need is to reach his third leg and he'll be mine!"
"Let go!" He started agrresively shaking his left leg to no avail. He was nearing the roof and he needed to make the woman go away. Planting a foot on her face, he quickly kicked the woman away and back into the ground. "I told you to let go..."
Tom looked up once again to see Marco's arm reaching for him. Grabbing it, he was quickly pulled up on the roof. The boys sighed in relief once Tom made it onto the roof. They wanted to rest, but they knew it was better to move now.
"Alright, when's the next bus to Echo Creek coming?" Tom asked Ferguson and Alfonzo.
"Five minutes from now." Alfonzo looked at his clock and confirmed it. "Are you sure about this, though?"
"As sure as I can ever be." Tom answered as Marco stood beside him. "Besides, Professor Ozpin actually helped with the transcripts since we're being chased by every girl in the school."
"Professor Ozpin?" Both Ferguson and Alfonzo raised an eyebrow.
Noticing his mistake, Tom quickly recovered. "Oh! I meant Professor Oscar!"
"You mean Professor O'Donell." Marco corrected. "Since we didn't have any lacking requirements, he agreed to us leaving the school earlier than expected. He already gave us our diplomas to get into college early."
"Too bad you guys couldn't attend grauduation..." Ferguson frowned.
It was true. Since they knew that it would cause to much of a ruckus if they were there, hence they decided to graduate early in the principal's office. It was rather embarassing for them to only have teachers acting as their crowd, but it's better than having an all-out war in the school.
"It's fine. We didn't care about graduation anyways." Tom smirked.
"You mean that you didn't care for graduation..."
"Eh, fair enough."
"Look!" Marco pointed towards the street. Everyone looked to see a bus packed with people inside. "It's the bus to Echo Creek!"
"I guess this is goodbye then?" Ferguson smiled. All four of them hugged each other before parting ways.
Running towards the edge of the building, Marco stopped both of them as soon as he saw how high they were; in a literal sense.
"Why'd you stop?!" Tom looked at him; clearly annoyed.
"Are you kidding me? I can't jump from this high!" Marco shouted back with flailing arms.
Tom didn't answer. Instead, he grabbed the boy by the arm, and with a smile on his face, said...
"Aim for the bushes?"
"Wha-"
Tom then jumped off the roof; pulling Marco with him.
A girly scream was heard in the entire school as they fell.
XxXxX
"I hate you." Marco simply said as he pulled another thorn from his body. "Ouch! I really hate you!"
Tom was laughing at his friend's expense. Apparently, Marco didn't aim for the bushes. Instead, he aimed for the cacti in front of the school. They had no idea why they put cacti instead of roses and sunflowers, but hey, they didn't care.
Or more specifically, Tom didn't care. He got a free show out of it. That was freaking hilairious!
"I told you to aim for the bushes!" Tom comically wiped a tear from his eye. "Oh man! That was gold!"
"You didn't tell me when we we're gonna jump!" Marco screeched; only making Tom laugh even harder.
The happy moment was short-lived, however, as they heard a group of women nearing them.
"They're here!" One of the girls pointed at them, causing all of them to run towards the boys.
"Are you serious? Let's go!" Tom shouted as he ran towards the bus to their freedom, Marco following shortly after picking the last needle from his body.
As they neared the bus, the girls also neared them. It was so close! Just a couple more seconds, and they were finally free! Using the last of his strength, Tom sprinted and went up to the driver.
Grabbing the man by the collar, he shouted, "DRIVE MAN!"
Maybe it was out of panic. Maybe it was out of fear. But the man did what he was asked of...demanded of him. The driver stepped on the pedal so hard he could actaully hear the pedal hitting the ground. The bus screeched from the sudden opening of the engine and started to drive away from the madness. Looking from the back of the bus, he saw all the women that we're chasing them either sitting on the ground in defeat or kept on chasing them until they grew tired.
Sighing, Tom found Marco near the front and slumped in the seat right next to him. He saw that the brunette's face was green and on the verge of vomiting his breakfast, lunch, and future dinner out. Reaching inside his pocket, Tom grabbed a pill and gave it to the boy.
"T-Thanks..." He barely stopped himself from vomiting before taking the pill and swallowing it whole. Silence filled the air around them as Marco slowly lost the green color in his face. The boy sighed in relief before looking outside the window. "Man, sometimes I hate motion sickness."
"So? What are we planning?" Tom relaxed as he fell into the chair he sat on. "We can't go back to Bakersfield after what happened to all the girls there. And we don't have anyone to rely on. We're lone wolves at this point."
Marco frowned, remembering the situation they were in. "I really wish Mom and Dad haven't moved out all those years ago. It would've helped us a lot if we didn't have to pay for rent for a dorm every single month."
"Agree with you there." Tom then looked at the bus driver; who seemed to be a lot less tense than the one he had shouted at earlier. "Hey! Bus Man! Is there a college in Echo Creek? And if so, what's the best one there?"
Tom made a reminder to tip the guy once they had reached their destination. The guy was cooperatively nice to them. He pretty much pointed them into the direction of where the college is. Luckily, for them, the bus was going in the direction of the school. Once they reached their destination, the two got off and bid farewell to the driver.
Looking up at the school, both boys saw a large college before them. Echo Creek College.
"So this what college looks like..." Marco said as he stared at the environment in awe.
"Yeah. Empty and lifeless." Tom sarcastically added after seeing no one inside the campus. He swore he saw a tumbleweed pass by them earlier as well. "I thought this place was crowded when we get here."
"Did you forget already? We left two days before graduation." Marco reminded him. "Of course everyone's still busy with their graduation. I wonder if they'll let us sign early?"
"I don't think we'll be able to, not today at least." He pointed out. "I think we'll be able to enroll once summer break hits. The teachers are busy and I doubt there will be many students here."
"If that's the case, then we should probably get part-time jobs." Marco turned to Tom. "We should get all the money we can get from working around here."
A silence filled the air after Marco mentioned the idea of work in order to survive...
...
...
"Man, college sucks."
Did you enjoy it?
Now you may be thinking, "Crazyman! How many fucking stories are you going to release?! You've already got One More Shot Season 2 going, The Girl In The Corner is barely updating, Walking Disasters just started, and now this?! Don't you have too much on your plate already?!" Look. If I know I won't be able to handle it, then I wouldn't release half of the things I create. Summer is already coming to an end and I just want to get everything out before school hits. 'Cause I know my schedule would be ultimately fucked once school hits.
So did you enjoy it? Sure, the concept of the story is fairly cliche. 'Guy/s run away from school and starts new life after trying to avoid a having a harem', but I think it has potential.
Reviews are love. You better review or I'll send Tom to burn your ass. The review can be a compliment, complaint, sugesstion, and/or criticism.
That's all for now and I will see you in the next one.
Crazyman out.
