I'm tired. I'm tired of running away and changing places. I want to be at home, I want to be watching cartoons and laughing with my father. My father... Fuck him. How dare he intrude into my home and fill me with false hope? That man wasn't even blood and I loved him! I loved him and then he fucking left. He left and told me that we weren't actually related. What kind of a fucking man has no shame? What kind of a man would lie to a child? How dare he. Saga Masamune? Fuck that. It's Takano Masamune now. After another hour of self arguments and blaming, I decided to distract myself instead. What's the point in dwelling on the past and wasting thoughts on trash? There isn't one. Maybe I'll go out and get laid... Yeah, no one knows me around here.. Yet.
I grabbed my leather jacket and my wallet after sliding my feet into my nicest shoes, and looked in the mirror. All black? Nice. It's not like I exactly had to 'dress to impress', I just had to find a nice lady who's too drunk to think, and bring her home. My handsome features are enough, ne?
On my way to the bar I checked my phone, the time read 5:00 and I sighed. I didn't bother to check the time before I left and now it's much too early to get drunk.. I guess I could just familiarize myself with the area. I thought, and kept my regular pace, but read signs instead of planning what kind of girl I'll have to take home. 'Tea & Bloom' was the first shop I walked by. Sounds sweet, maybe I'll go there sometime.. The next was 'Marimo Books'. A book shop..? Oh, and it's open.. I look around the neighbourhood briefly and nod to myself. I guess I have enough free time I think to myself as I approach the shops steps, and enter with the scent of cologne strong on my coat. I guess I don't really fit in here, I sigh inwardly, deciding to stay. It would be sketchy to enter and then immediately leave a shop.
I begin to pace around said shop, grazing my fingers against book titles and smiling to myself, ah, this shop smells nice.. It smells like new books, and.. candycanes? Confusion washes over my features as I glance around, noticing a smaller male reaching to the top of a shelf, his cart full of books beside him. So he works here? He looks quite young.. I approach the other male, noticing the frustration in his captivating emerald eyes as I take the book from his hands, placing it in the spot he was attempting to reach with ease. He settles his stance and looks at me with his eyes wide, as his light brown hair falls perfectly into place. "T- Thank you." He says nervously, and I smile at him. He almost looks like a girl.. So cute. "Anytime, shorty." I respond, looking over the books to my left as my smile widens and his expression turns sour. "I'm not short," He retorts, mumbling slightly. "Are you new around here?" He asks, quickly replacing his train of thought. Maybe he realized that he was being rude to a customer.. I chuckle, then look at him with that I imagine a handsome expression. "Yes, I've only moved here today, actually." I notice the other males face brighten as he gives me a smile, probably fake, I smile back as he responds, "That's great! Since you're new around here, I'll give you a discount if you decide to buy something." I nod, keeping a smile on my face, "Thank you.." My eyes wonder down words as to read his name tag "Onodera-Kun", I let his name roll off of my tongue. I quite like the way it sounds in my mouth.. The other male blushes slightly and nods, putting another book in its place before walking away awkwardly. How cute.. I think to myself, maybe I'll have more fun here than I planned.
