Just to let you guys know, this is the tenth Doctor. First crossover! YES! :3
Wheatley had been floating in space for 9 years straight. It was getting tiring. Just floating in space. Having the space core yell about space. Having the space core yell about stars. Every now and then, he would pretend he was talking to someone who he called "Dad." Every day was the same. Try to contact earth for 12 hours, try to start a conversation with Space Core for 2 hours. Float around in space for 5 hours. Then, shut self down for 5 hours. That was it. But, one day, Wheatley was on his first hour of trying to talk to Space Core, when something happened.
"So, why are you so interested in space?" Wheatley tried to ask the core.
"Because- because it's space!" The Core replied, then went back to rambling on about space. Wheatley sighed, and was just about to ask him another question, when he heard a whooshing sound.
"Space police!" Space core cried out. The noise went like this: whir *pause* whir. It repeated over and over again, until something appeared in front of Wheatley. Of course, Wheatley was curious.
"What is it?" He whispered. It was a blue box. On top of the blue box was a light and some words that read, police call box. It had two doors.
"Space police!" Screamed the space core again. The two doors opened, and a man peaked out.
"Huh. I've never seen satellites like you before, and it's not alien technology," the man said. He took out some kind of short metal stick, and started to shine a blue light into Wheatley's robot eye.
"Ow! Hey, watch it! That stings!" Wheatley cried out as a zap of electricity coursed through him. The man was a bit startled and jumped back a bit.
"It talks!" He exclaimed.
"And it has a name, too," Wheatley said sarcastically.
"Space police! SPACE POLICE!" Space Core cried out once more.
"So, how did you get here?" The man asked Wheatley. Wheatley sighed. He would have to tell that story, wouldn't he? The man sat down and started to listen to Wheatley's story.
After he was done telling the story, the man just stared at him for a while. Then, Space Core broke the silence
"SPACE! I'm in SPACE! Dad, are you there? Yes son. I'm in SPACE! Yes, now we are family again. I love you dad," The Space Core continued.
"That's- an interesting story," The man said.
"I know. I wish I could go back there and tell my friend that I'm sorry. But no, I can't, mate. I'm just going to have to sit here and float around in-"
"SPAAAAAAACE!" The Space Core finished. The man just nodded.
"Hey, I can take you!" He exclaimed, standing up.
"You can?" Wheatley said, surprised. How could this man take him back to Earth? It was miles away.
"Yes! Do you trust me?" The man asked. Wheatley thought about this. If this man could take him back, he could say sorry to the test subject. If he didn't, and just took him apart, at least it would be better than floating around in space all day.
"All right, I'll come!" Wheatley said, happy he was going somewhere.
"Ok! By the way, my name is the Doctor."
