Paramedics surrounded Tomoada, Japan's Kohaku community pool. Teenage girl cries were heard through the dark night sky. It was about 12:00. People in red cross uniforms ran all over the place, scanning for hurt teens. Only two people sat down quietly at the pool. On the left side of the pool, a boy with unruly chestnut hair sat. His amber eyes shined as he stared at the girl from the other side of the pool.
On the right side of the pool, a girl with stringy wet auburn hair sat. She swung her legs since she was sitting at the pool edge. Her emeraldgreen eyes burned with rage, she refused to stare at the boy across the pool. Her flushed face was getting scrunched up in disgust. Shefelt pain,sarrow, and rage at a crazy level. Finally, she couldn't stand it. The girl stood up and stared down at the chestnut haired boy in rage.
The boy looked at her in surprise. It was rare these days that she ever looked at him. He quickly rose up and walked hastily towards her. When he reached her side, she turned away, tears streaming down her face. Her beautiful deep green ocean eyes were red rimmed. The boy looked guilty and turned her to face him. His hand held hers and she withdrew her hand quickly. She stared deep into his amber eyes and spoke for the first time.
"How did this happen...? Why are we here?! Why did this all happen?!" Her soft voice turn hoarse as her knees buckled and she slid down to the edge of the pool again. The boy sat down beside her and patted her back, trying to comfort her. He looked down and spoke for the first time.
"I'll tell you what happened Ku..." The boy's voice was also hoarse. He smiled softly and stared at the girl beside him in a dazed like state.
"One day, Syaoran Li had requested his bestfriend to meet him at Kiku Lake..."
