She Never Did
She never did say goodbye to him; she never could. In her heart, it was all she wanted to do. In her head, it happened so easily. But in reality, she never could. All of those missed opportunities; the moments they were alone in the Quidditch change rooms, the times she was so close to putting quill to parchment… it never happened.
And then before she knew it, she was never seeing him again. He was leaving the country – going to Scotland – and even after all those times she thought about it, she never did tell Oliver Wood that she loved him.
This may or may not have been (almost down to the T) a true story...
