Just a short alternate ending to the Lizzie McGuire movie. I never understood the GordoxLizzie couple. I'm more of a fan of LizziexMiranda couple. So... it's right where they kiss.
Slowly Lizzie leaned in a placed a gentle kiss on Gordos lips. His eyes closed almost as soon as their lips met but were forced to open as she pulled away just as quickly.
"Gordo... I'm sorry." Lizzie slowly walked away. The curly brunette was clearly confused so he followed.
"Sorry for what?"
"...I have to go."
Lizzie ran out the door, down the long flight of stairs and straight to her parents.
"Mom? Dad? Can we go home?"
"Sure... tomorrow." Her dad replied.
"No. I need to leave now."
"Alright honey. Go get your stuff."
Lizzie ran back up to her room as her parents looked at each other, baffled.
"What was that about?" Her mom whispered.
"Who knows..." Jo trailed off.
Upstairs Lizzie threw shirts, skirts and jeans into her bag. Anything to get away from him. Away from the heartbreak that would eventually befall her best friend. She couldn't do that to him. Not over something she couldn't control.
"Lizzie, what are you doing?" Kate asked. She had just returned from her date with Ethan.
"I can't stay here... I can't hurt him." She cried.
"Hurt who?"
"Gordo."
"Why would you hurt him?"
"I can't love him... I can never love him."
"Why not?"
"Because, I love her!"
"Who?"
"Miranda!" Immediately Lizzie covered her mouth and sank down to her bed, pulling the pillow to her chest. Had she really just said that?
"Woah! Miranda?"
"..."
"Lizzie! Talk to me."
"Yes... I love her. I can never be in love with Gordo."
"...fine. Leave." Kate walked into the bathroom and slammed the door. She knew that Lizzie wouldn't even explain to Gordo why she was going to run away from him.
Weeks passed. Lizzie got home before everyone else and hid herself in her room. She needed to talk to Miranda. She needed to explain. Before she could tell Gordo, she needed to know if she could ever have a chance with her.
Knock knock knock.
"Who is it?" She muttered.
"Miranda's here."
Lizzie looked up, suddenly nervous.
"Come in."
The black haired girl entered the room, slowly at first but then seeing Lizzie, ran in.
"Hey Liz."
"Hey Miranda..."
She sat down next to Lizzie on her bed and hugged her. It was forever since they saw each other.
"I heard some things..." Miranda whispered.
"Like what?"
"Well Kate said..." She trailed off.
"What did she say?" Her words were forced, scared.
"Things... things about Gordo... and me."
"Oh."
Miranda leaned over and placed a gentle kiss on Lizzies lips. Sparks shot all over her body.
"I love you too."
So... horrible? Crackish? Enough to want to hit your head on the wall until you forget ever reading it?
It felt a little rushed to me so it probably is but forgive me. I have to go to work so I really want to just get it finished.
Much love!
