A red, purple, yellow and orange sky greeted Rei as he walked from the, on board, bed room in an open, white, button up shirt and dark shorts.
"Kai?" He patted across the smooth wooden deck, right up behind the boy in the chair.
His hands were folded loosely behind his head and one of his legs was bent. Rei had to smile at the relaxed look. He also had a blue captains' hat covering some of the spiky, slate bangs and his mahogany eyes.
'Just like Kai… always the man in charge…' He thought smiling.
Rei could tell by the steady raise and fall of his lovers' bare chest, that Kai was asleep.
The black haired boy walked over to his chair and grabbed a throw blanket to put over top his sleeping partners chest. Kneeling beside Kai's chair, Rei absently roamed his eyes over his Russian boyfriend. He spent a minute just staring; then sighed and up to sit in his own seat instead of the cold deck.
With a mixture of the rocking ship and shear surprise, Rei was pulled back down. Captains' hat forgotten on the ground beside them, Rei sat in Kai's lap as they shared a sweet kiss.
"I thought that you were sleeping." Rei accused playfully. Kai shrugged, his arms still around the other's waist, then smirked.
"I was, but that was before I heard a cute little kitten mew my name." he said, leaning back. "Come on," He pulled Rei back down, half beside him. The Russian picked his hat back up and placed it lazily back onto his two-toned, mop of hair.
"You know Kai…" Rei said after a moment of staring at the waning sun. "We'll have to thank the Majestics for getting us this weekend…" He continued. "Even though the house is going to be a disaster with Takao and Max alone—"
"You talk too much." Kai muttered after placing a silencing kiss on his boyfriend. "Just relax for a change."
And so he did…
