They said it was a simple lifehack. All I wanted was to clean some files on my computer. I don't know what I expected. I turned on my laptop, and went to the website that I had just seen on a popular "lifehack" photo. As I entered the address a feeling of dread came across me. I had the worst feeling, but for some reason I didn't doubt the lifehack photo. I downloaded the software, and plugged in my headphones. An electrical surge ran through me, consuming my entire body. My mind and my muscles cringed as the voltage sent shocks throughout my entire being. Technology poured through my brain, and suddenly I knew everything. I knew the name of every country song in America. I knew the entire history of Australia. I knew every fact about dolphins there was to know. And suddenly, my entire being slipped away. My brain filled with this information, as it poured in faster, and faster. My consciousness wasn't home anymore, and I was only a machine in a man's body. My computer was swiped clean, every file I never needed gone. But I had been swiped clean as well. My entire existence overpowered by knowledge I wasn't supposed to know. I knew too much. My attempt at a lifehack had caused my brain to be hijacked. My eyes now a glowing blue, turned left without me ordering them too. I was trapped inside my own body. Merely a vessel for a virus. I fought for my own meatsuit back, with little success, but as my body turned to the window to gaze upon the city, I used whatever I had left to push myself out of the window. I fell to the ground and the numbers bled out of my head. The information bled from my fingertips. The knowledge exploded out of my heart. A simple lifehack had killed me.
