River Song was angry. An angry River Song was never a good thing, let alone a 9 year old River Song. She dangled her legs over the top of the Jungle Gym and looked down at the screaming teachers below her. It had all started over her and that stupid wooden sword.

Flash Back…

"River, give it back" A 9 year old Rory Williams shouted his pale skin now roaring red.

"No Rory it's mine now" River teased running with the wooden sword onto the playground. "Ha I'm a pirate" She swished the sword around her and laughed.

"Amy..." Rory whined.

"River, give back the sword." The feisty red head demanded but River just ran faster. River laughed and let the wind dance through her hair.

"River" Amy warned her, but River wasn't going to stop for nothing, well almost nothing. "River Song You give back that Sword or" Amy pulled out the necklace that was previously on River neck. River automatically dropped the sword.

"Amy Give it back" River clenched her fists.

"Okay River calm down" Amy went to pass her the necklace back but dropped it down a drain... "River…I'm so sorry."

River turned a shade of white and ran off. No-one had seen her since, well not till a stupid boy in year 2 saw her.

End Flash Back,

"River…" A new voice filled her ears, it was The Doctor's well His real name was John but that's what he preferred.

"John" She looked at him funny when he came and sat next to her way up high. "What are you doing here? You don't like heights"

"Well you were sad, and I don't like seeing you sad." He blushed slightly. "Ooooo and and and I have it, your necklace"

"You do?" River interrupted him.

"Shush, yes I do. Me and Amy fished it out with fishing rod and tape and I was awesome" He said the last part whilst fixing his bowtie.

"So?" River asked impatiently.

"It's down there, with Amy" He nodded to where Amy was standing. River leaned over and kissed his cheek and then jumped off.

"Wait River!" The Doctor cried. "I don't know how to get down!"
