Dear Diary,
My name's Alex. I'm a trainer from Islos. Well, I'm not exactly a trainer yet. But tomorrow, I will be. Tomorrow, my journey begins. Islos is a beautiful region with too many species of Pokémon living in it to count but it's very dangerous and challenging. I'm gonna get pushed to the limit, I know, but I can't help being excited. New adventures are waiting just around the corner, and I can't wait. I'm gonna go my own way. And no one can stop me. So the world better get ready, 'cause I'm coming!
Right now I'm sleeping out, in a field overlooking a cliff by the sea, near my home of Everfly Town. I'm too excited to sleep inside. I can hear the wild Pokémon nearby. They chirp and whisper. I look up and see the stars twinkling above me, shining brilliantly in the purple velvet sky.
That feeling is rushing through my veins again, sending the same message through me like a pulse:
I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was.
