Disclaimer: I own only- nothing wahhhh!

Authors note: Hi! I wanted to try and write something in Murtagh's point of view and include Galbatorix.

Murtagh looked up at the mad king. The room was dark and smelled of human. The scent clung to his nose.

"I have been too lenient with you!" Galbatorix hissed.

Murtagh grunted as an invisible force pushed him against the floor.

" Well then, we will just have to teach you a lesson!" the mad king laughed evilly

The young man groaned as a leather cord came down on his back.

The leather strap descended again and again. Murtagh bit the inside of his lip to keep from screaming. The hay on the stone floor clung to his bloodied arms and back.

"You rodent! Betrayer of oaths! You do not deserve a master as generous as me!"

No, I do not deserve a master at all! Murtagh thought.

He lost count of the strikes. Time became a blur. All Murtagh felt was numbness over his entire being. He guessed that was Thorn's doing.

"You rude, insolent bastard! I would kill you this instant if I hadn't known your father." With every word the strikes became stronger.

No, you won't kill me because you need me to do your dirty work! I curse you to the fery pits of hell! And I will see you there myself.

"How dare you say that of me? I have taught you so much! I gave you and your weakling dragon the best of my rooms! If it weren't for me you would be dead! If it weren't for me you would not have your puny, scrawny, little worthless mound of a dragon!"

The whip came down again and again. Now it felt like there were at least three pieces of leather.

The bastard snake king is going to kill me soon. Murtagh thought. No, I cannot die. I will not abandon Thorn to this evil- evil badger who doesn't care about anyone or anything other than himself and power!

Murtagh heard the leather cord drop to the floor. He felt Galbatorix walk over to him. The next thing he felt was stab of pain on his side and Murtagh heard a crack. The king kicked him again and again. Murtagh felt himself drift into unconsciousness. He embraced it.

Authors note: So I've written better… But I have to admit it was hard inventing those curses.
