Just a short... dialogue :) Enjoy!
Ah, and a disclaimer: House is not mine, blah, blah, I don't own anything, blah, blah, don't sue me.
He was kneeling on the ground, not paying attention to the pain in his leg. Not paying attention to tears running down his face. To people around him.
He was kneeling beside Cuddy, holding her hand. He still couldn't believe it. Was it really the end? Couldn't he even say goodbye? Why hadn't he told her earlier what he felt? And now… Now it was too late. On the evening news he would probably hear about the crash of a century and "fortunately" only one person dead. The person closest to him.
"You must be crazy." Cuddy opened her eyes and sat up straight.
The Author was caught off guard. Since when characters can express their opinions?!
"Excuse me?!"
"You're crazy. How can you kill me in the first scene?"
House quickly wiped the tears from his face.
"She's right. How are you going to make Huddy without 'uddy'?" he asked with his damn logic.
The Author hesitated.
"Honestly, I have no idea. I haven't thought about this yet. I just wanted it to be dramatic."
House snorted.
"Do you really think our life isn't dramatic enough without it? Nobody can understand me and you want to take away the only person who could deal with me?"
"You still have Wilson," the Author suggested.
"I'd say that there are some areas Wilson isn't useful," Cuddy cut in.
The author sighed helplessly.
"You've ruined my whole conception. What am I supposed to do now?"
"Leave us alone." House helped Cuddy stand up and wrapped his arm around her waist.
"Hey, wait! What do you mean? It's my fic!"
"The screenplay sucks, so we don't want to cooperate. Just leave us alone."
The author finally realized that she wouldn't convince them.
"You won. As always. Next time I'm writing about Cameron, she won't create difficulties. Adieu."
She switched the computer off, leaving them alone in the darkness. They would know what to do with it. And probably it would be the best episode ever…
Don't shoot, I'm not a native speaker :)
