One dusky evening in spring, Harry and Ron flew high above the

forbidden forest, with Hermione trailing far behind. The three had decided

to fly around the grounds, much to Hermione's displeasure. She hated to fly, but had

insisted on accompanying the two love birds, feeling that it wasn't safe to leave

them alone quite yet.

Once in the air, Harry and Ron had quickly outstripped Hermione. They could hear her in the distance shouting at them to turn around now.

Harry laughed light heartedly, happy to finally be alone with Ron high in the

open air. Ron though, was looking around nervously toward Hermione.

"Do you think she'll be ok? You know she can't fly well."

"Don't worry, she'll be fine, I promise I'll let Hermione catch up to us."

Back in the common room later that night, Hermione sat at a table doing homework, while Harry and Ron lounged on the couch by the fire.

Hermione glanced over to them, saying, "You two really should be writing your potions essay," as she turned. When she saw them cuddling on the couch, she cut off mid sentence.

"Aww come on you two, do you have to? I mean, really, it's bad enough that you aren't doing homework, but do you have to be all over each other?"

"Shove off, Hermione," Ron mumbled as he nuzzled Harry's neck. "Stop acting like my mum."

Harry giggled and squirmed as Ron found a ticklish spot on his neck. "Really Hermione, if you just found yourself a boyfriend, you wouldn't mind so much!"

"Hhhhh, really you two, is that all you can think about? There's more to life than romance!! Get off that couch now and come write your essays!"

"Fine." Harry said, detaching himself from Ron. "We'll humor you, but you do know that it's painfully obvious that you like Fred, don't you? You should do us all a favor and just tell him. You might be surprised by his response."
