I Got Small Paws
Ranamon happily walked around the base with her adopted egg in her pouch. She was on her way to a meeting. The others sighed. "Finally you get here right" Arbormon said. "Did thou get stuck admiring thyself in the mirror" Mercurymon said with a cheap smile. "Or did you forget how to wake up" Grumblemon said. "No, yes and why" Ranamon said. She took out the egg and shook it. "I was playing with the egg" she said. "Be careful right, you might give it brain damage" Arbormon said. "It would be a perfect match for her then" Grumblemon said. Ranamon rubbed the egg against her face. "Don't worry sugar. You'll be the best Digimon baby a mother could ask for" she said. The egg started glowing. Ranamon set it down and the others crowded around her. The egg started cracking. "Oh my sugars I think its finally hatching" Ranamon said. The egg exploded and the light receded. A small fox kit looking Digimon with a Unified Symbol on its back sat in its place. Her ears twitched and she was staring straight at Ranamon. "Mama" she asked. Ranamon squealed in delight and picked the little Digimon up. "Yes. I'm your mother and umm… He's your dad" Ranamon said. She pointed at Mercurymon. The little Digimon hopped straight out of Ranamon's arms and ran straight to Mercurymon who reluctantly picked her up. "Should we ask Lord Cherubimon what she is" Grumblemon said. "Ask me what" a deep voice said. Cherubimon's shadowy form appeared and then he did.
His yellow eyes widened when he spotted the little Digimon who was currently licking Mercurymon's face mirror thing. "Where did you find it" he asked. "Ranamon hatched it right" Arbormon said. "Can you tell us what she is" Grumblemon asked. "Hmm… She is called DemiCourtney. She is the Destiny Digimon and she is very sweet" Cherubimon said. DemiCourtney jumped down out of Mercurymon's grip and started bothering Grumblemon. "The symbol on her back is the symbol of the unification of the eight virtuous crests. DemiCourtney is very rare. I suggest you take good care of her" Cherubimon said. He disappeared. DemiCourtney patted Ranamon's leg. Ranamon picked her up. "What is it sugar" she asked. "I'm hungry mama. Dada's face didn't taste good at all" DemiCourtney said. Ranamon looked at the others. They shrugged. "Let's go find something sugar" Ranamon said as she put DemiCourtney back in her pouch. "Why don't you let her walk? She has feet" Grumblemon said. Ranamon looked down at DemiCourtney. "I got small paws mama but I can walk if you need me too" DemiCourtney said. Ranamon patted her head and went to find food for her new adopted daughter.
