One day, Tarrant had a little challenge for Alice, he told her if she could go a whole day without talking to him he would love her forever.
Of course, Alice accepted the challenge.
She lived a whole day without talking to him, or getting anywhere near him..
She fell asleep gladly knowing that she will pass the challenge.
She went to Tarrant's house in the morning, happy to let him know that she did his challenge perfectly.
But when Mirana opened the door , she told Alice that Tarrant had only twenty-four hours to live because he was suffering from cancer.
He didn't want Alice to know because he doesn't want her to worry about him.
Tears fell from Alice's eyes as she saw him in a coffin..
There was a letter on the side of the coffin, it was addressed: 'to Alice'
The letter read:
Congratulations Alice, you lived a whole day without me, you showed me you'll be able to live without me. Can you do that everyday for me? Like I promised you, I'll love you forever even if you cant see me, I'll always be right by your side to guard you and protect you…… I love you.

Alice fell on her knees on the ground.
She cried and cried not knowing what to do.
"Why didn't he let me spend time with him in the last twenty four hours of his life?" Alice asked herself
Alice felt a hand touch my shoulder, it was Mirana
"Alice, he just wanted you to get used to a life without him in it, "
"I don't want to get used to a life without him, I love him and I don't want him away from me."
"Alice, he'll never be away from you….. because all the people you love always stay in your heart."
I looked up at her and smiled, she was right.
Tarrant might be gone, but he'll always be in my heart forever
