I remember looking at her; watching her carefully. Then the cybeasts' attacked. I watched her go. She told me to run. Somehow, my feet did as told. My feet were running home; my mind stayed behind with her. I didn't look back. When I got home, I saw it all before my eyes. She and remerged. I vaguely remembered Dr. Wily saying that they would be deleted. And then… that next morning, I saw her deleted. CopyBot and all. She was gone. I saw a flower planted where I thought was in her place. An Iris. Just one.
I look back at this and smile a sad smile. And a tear, just a single tear, falls. On her grave. Next to the flower. I feel an arm go around my shoulders and see Lan next to me.
"You really loved her, didn't you." he stated. He knew. He could see through me with that.
"Yeah. I did."
A tear falls from his eye too. Then another. And another. And another. Mine do the same thing. Soon we had multiple tears fall. We look up to see the starry sky. Bright and clear. Then we see it. The shooting star.
