Just something that popped into my head. Character Death.
Robin wasn't moving. No. He was in to much pain for that. That had finally done it.
Slade didn't want a unwilling apprentice. But it he couldn't have him, nobody could.
He could feel everything. His lungs ached as they filled with Ruby liquid, his legs hurt as the finely crushed bines dug in from the inside of his leg.
Then there was the would.
His chest was cut open, a large gash rippling it's way across his abdomen. He new what was coming.
The rain didn't help matters at it poured from the dirty rooftop into the open knife wound.
It wasn't him he was worried about - oh no.
Everybody was here - his brothers Kid Flash and Speedy were here. Well, that's how they viewed each other - not by blood, by heart.
He could hear everything, the rain and that soft patter over it getting louder and louder, Kid Flash was running, probably searching for him while coming up with some corny joke to tell him when he did.
"Robin?" He asked slowly "Robin, are you- Oh my God."
His mouth dropped in horror and he ran to his friend.
He fumbled around for his com, quickly dialling in Speedy's number, fingers numbing quickly.
"S-Speedy?" Kid Flash stuttered, placing the com on the ground as he grabbed Robin's utility belt and fumbling around in it for any kind of Medical Suplies.
"Dude? Are you OK?"
"Robin" He whispered "Speedy, it's R-Robin. So much blood. So much blood…"
He could hear Speedy gasp and start running, his com snapping shut so Kid Flash could only hear static, but he didn't bother to turn it off.
"You're going to be Ok" He whispered, grabbing anything he could "You'll be fine."
"D-d-don't k-kid yourself KF" Robin muttered, as some more blood sprayed form his mouth "I-I understand w-what's going o-on."
Footsteps got closer as Speedy rushed in, not being to far way "No…"
Rushing over, he fell next to Robin on his knees, tears started to fall down his cheeks.
"They're coming" Speedy whispered into Robin's ear "You'll be fine. Raven will fix you right up."
"Y-You know t-t-that's not t-true."
Everybody went quiet, Robin's breathing started to slow.
"Keep breathing, Rob. Come on. Breathe" Kid Flash ordered.
"Is everything ok?" A meek voice asked though the rain, green orbs staring towards them.
"S-Star" Robin uttered.
"Robin!" She screamed, starting to sob.
"S-Starfire…" He said, he voice starting to get quieter, he used some of his last strength to run his hand through the bottom of his hair "I-I never got to say i-it. D-d-did I?"
"Say what?" She started to sob, clutching his hand, trying not to cry, trying to be brave.
"I-I love you."
That did it, Starfire started to cry loudly, wailing.
"K-KF? S-Speedy?" He asked "You were the b-best friends I c-could have a-a-asked for. T-Thankyou. T-tell the T-titans they were the best team I c-could have a-asked for."
They just were crying, trying not to brake down into a full titlewave.
"T-Tell my father…" Robin whispered "Tell Batman… my Tata… tell h-him I-I'm s-sorry. That I l-l-love him."
Using his last strength, he reached to his face pulling off the mask revealing those two bright blue eyes.
He stopped breathing, his heart stopped breathing. He was dead - and he wasn't coming back.
Robin was gone.
Starfire collapsed, curling up and shaking, crying into the rain stained ground.
Kid Flash reached forward, closing his eyelids.
Speedy looked at Kid Flash "Fly forever free, Little Robin."
I know it was probably rubbish.
