Don't own anything.
"Hey."
She smiled, "Hi."
He came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her, "You okay?"
She turned away from the window and looked up at him, "She ended her life, not literally, but she got arrested. In a way, that's ending it."
He kissed her forehead, "She'll probably get off, there isn't much evidence."
"I know it's wrong, but I almost wish she does."
He pulled her into him even tighter, "It's not wrong Jess, it shows you're human. It's that part of you that keeps you from going crazy in this line of work."
She sighed, "I know."
"How come you're wearing my shirt?"
Se shrugged, "It's comfortable."
He nodded, "Sure, are you coming to bed?"
The sad look on her face was replaced by a happy smile and a teasing gleam in her eyes, "Is that an invitation?"
He grinned, "Maybe."
She moved out of his arms, "I think I accept."
She started to move, but he just stood there, "You coming? I'll even return your shirt if you want."
His laugh followed her as they walked into the bedroom.
Love always, Heavenly...
