Erin came to work at 7:15 every morning. She took a shower, got dressed, ate breakfast, and went to work. That was an average day for Erin.
Andy Bernard got to work at 7:20 every morning. He would get to work and greet his good friend Erin. Then, would organize his room and wait for his co-workers to arrive. Today was different. He was going to get to work at 7:10 because he had something special planned for Erin.
Andy arrived and set up his stuff. He hid behind Erin's chair and waited for her to arrive. He had his suitcase next to him. He opened the case and put to socks on his hands.
Erin arrived to work. She walked in. 7:13. She was early. She walked to her desk to find a note on the door. "Erin I have a surprise for you at your desk. –Nard Dog." She smiled. Anything about Andy made her happy. She took a step inside. She called out "Andy?"
Andy knew it was Erin. He lifted his arms up and began to speak.
"Hello Erin!"The sock puppet Andy said.
Sock puppet Erin said "Well, hey Andy!"
Erin smiled. She loved sock puppets!
Andy continued to talk with the sock puppets.
"Hey Erin!"
"Yes."
"Did you know I think you're wonderful?"
"Really?"
"Yes, and I also have to tell you I was stupid. I never had that girlfriend who I had 31 dates with but, I do hope to have 31 dates with you."
"Aww Andy."
"Erin will you go out with me?"
Erin's grin grew large.
Andy put the sock puppets down and, stood up.
"Erin, would you please go out with me?"
"Of course Andy! Of course!"
Andy ran over to Erin and hugged her.
There wonderful moment was interrupted by slow claps. They broke away their hug and turned to see who it was.
"Well done, Andy. That was very original." Robert California said. Then, he left without another word.
Erin and Andy gave a confused but, then continued their celebration.
