"I'm leaving" Came a whisper from the darkness.
"I knew something like this would eventually happen and you should know your being incredibly stupid." Came the monotone reply
"I'm sick of you!" Dick hissed "Why would I be leaving"
"You only think that Dick, you're really just over reacting"
"Over REACTING!" Shouted Dick "this is exactly what I'm talking about! You just don't understand! You don't even listen!" Dick started to tear up.
"Do you hear yourself? You sound exactly like a snotty teenager, really! You don't understand!" Batman mocked him.
"But in this case I'm not just being a bratty self absorbed teenager!" Dick cried. "This….this is real!"
"This is REAL" Batman continued to mock "If you could just hear yourself Dick. Stop fooling around!" Dick's cheeks burned red.
"Batman" Dick pleaded trying to get him to just understand. "Please."
"Please nothing" snapped Batman "I'm ending your silly little game. Do you really think there's anything you can get out there that you can't get with me?"
"That's JUST it!" Dick burst out "you can't give me what I need!"
"W….what?" Batman was a bit shocked at Dick's outburst.
"You think your money can give me anything I want but your wrong!" Batman just stared. Dick was getting really upset now.
"You can't give me…a father figure. Bruce, you can't give me the affection or the….well the love. You just can't. And that's what I need. That's all I wanted." Dick dint hold the tears back they came freely. "You were too caught up in Joker and petty little crimes and rich parties to even notice you hade a son! Sometimes I think the only me you know is Robin and Dick doesn't really exist. Dose Bruce even exist? Batman is the only thing you can be for me. You dint even notice any of this! BATGIRL had to stop me from becoming just like YOU! At least she NOTICED! She actually listened. Something you've never done! She talked to me ….she was like my sister.
