Dave sat at a computer in the school library. It was study hall, but he had gotten his work done, and he wasn't sure of what to do. His facebook was dead, and he didn't have many friends anyway, so he was just googling random objects or people to see what came up.
He had an idea. He googled Ben O'Loche. He was shocked to see that what came up on the screen were pictures, videos and articles of a Celtic group in Irleand. He barely had time to open one of the links when someone spoke behind him.
"So you found out?" Dave turned around sharply to find Ben standing behind him.
"I was bored." Dave admitted. "I didn't expect anything to come up."
"You can look though all of those, but I'll tell you one thing, I didn't do anything wrong." Ben turned around and walked away. Dave logged out and ran down the hallway just in time to catch up to Ben.
"Let's just forget about that, Ok?" He paused, and then suggested "Let's go somewhere."
Ben turned around. "Where?"
Dave grinned, and grabbed the other boy's hand. "Come on."
They rushed out of school, seeing no one on the way, and started to head down to the track. No one would be there this time of day, not even the gym class ventured down there. They climbed onto the bleachers. Dave sat down and then tugged Ben along to where he was sitting next to him, the two boys facing each other.
"I didn't read any of those articles you know, and I won't read them if you don't want me to." Dave said, gazing openly at the boy sitting beside him.
Ben blushed. "I don't mind if you read them, but just don't believe what you read."
"So, I have a famous boyfriend?" Dave asked. Scooting closer.
"Infamous is more likely." Ben muttered.
"So I don't have to worry about anyone crowding you here asking for autographs or anything?" Dave inched even closer. Ben could feel his breath, hot, mingling with his own.
"I don't think so." Ben could barely breathe. Dave was so close that the Irishman's mind was getting foggy, his concentration was slipping. Those brown eyes were too damn wonderful, he couldn't look away.
"Good. Because I don't share." Then Dave closed the gap between the two of them, pressing his lips against Ben's. Ben kissed back tentatively, until he felt one large, strong hand snake around his waist and pulling him closer and a tongue prodding his closed lips. Almost immediately, he opened his mouth and deepened the kiss, bringing one hand up to Dave's neck, pulling him closer, while leaving one on his shoulder, gripping at the fabric there.
They had no idea how long they kissed. It could have been forever. All they knew was that when they broke apart, they both felt as though something was missing, and they were desperate to get it back.
"Better?" Dave asked. "I hate to see you upset." He cupped the other boy's face, thumb caressing his cheek.
Ben nodded. He did feel a lot better. He knows that Dave won't push him on this, and that means more to him than he could ever convey into words. "Yeah."
"You'll let me know though, if anyone gives you a hard time right?" He asked.
Ben nodded.
Dave relaxed a little. "Just say who it is, and I'll kick their ass." He looked at his watch. "We need to get back. Football practice starts soon and your mom should be picking you up soon too. Right?"
Ben nodded after checking his cell. "So. Umm... I'll see you tomorrow?"
Dave stole a quick kiss. "Of course."
